RADAR, known as “Radar” in Chinese, is the first purely electric pickup truck brand under Geely Holding, and will be officially launched on July 12, 2022. Its products include Radar RD6, China’s first pure electric pickup truck.
Currently, the mainstream products under the Radar brand include Radar RD5 and Radar RD6.

Full-range High-efficiency Pure Electric Drive Technology
Radar is equipped with a high-performance 3-in-1 electric drive system, using a 200kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, combined with the Bosch iBooster intelligent energy recovery system, to achieve 6.9 seconds of 100km acceleration and 30% of the range from the energy recovery of efficient performance. Its full-domain electronic control technology supports seamless switching between Comfort/ECO/Sport driving modes, and with the 100kWh high-capacity battery pack, the range under CLTC conditions can reach 632km. the technology significantly improves energy efficiency through lightweight design (such as the steel-aluminum hybrid body structure) and low-wind resistance optimization (0.32Cd).
Intelligent Battery and Full Scenario Discharge System
Radar adopts Ni55 safety battery cell and 6 major electricity safety technologies, realizes 24-hour real-time monitoring through BMS battery management system, and supports multiple protections such as over-temperature, over-current and leakage. Its full-scene intelligent discharging system supports a maximum of 6kW external discharging power, covering camping, rescue, commercial and other scenarios, providing 6 power modes (such as V2V vehicle-to-vehicle charging and power supply for equipment), and remotely controlling the discharging threshold through APP to meet the diversified outdoor power needs.
Multi-Radar Fusion Sensing and High-order Intelligent Driving
Radar car integrated L2+ level intelligent driver assistance system, including 12 core functions: millimeter wave radar (forward long range detection) and ultrasonic radar (parking assistance) fusion, combined with high-definition camera to realize ACC full-speed domain adaptive cruise, AEB automatic emergency braking and other functions. Relying on Galaxy OS intelligent ecosystem, it supports multi-sensor data fusion (e.g. BSD blind zone monitoring, RCTA rear crossing warning), which improves safety under complex road conditions. Bosch ESP9.3 electronic stability system and 38 meters ultra-short braking distance technology synergize to guarantee quick response in emergencies.
Modular Loading and Chassis Tuning Technology
Radar’s original design of variable loading space includes 1200L rear bucket volume, 70L hidden trunk and 48L rear seat magic space, which supports electronically-controlled opening and closing of the cargo door and flexible flipping up of the seat cushion. The chassis adopts front MacPherson + rear multi-link independent suspension, combined with EPS electric power steering, realizing the minimum turning diameter of 12.2 meters, taking into account the flexible handling in the city and cross-country stability, and adapting to complex terrain such as mountain roads and gravel.
Intelligent Interaction and Telematics Ecology
Through the dual 12.3-inch floating screen + 9-inch HUD head-up display constitutes multi-screen linkage, equipped with Qualcomm high-performance chip to support full-scene voice interaction (multi-intent continuous dialog). Its Galaxy OS system integrates open ecosystems such as AutoNavi Maps and online stores, and supports remote control by cell phone APP (vehicle status query and car enthusiast interaction), realizing a seamless connection between human-vehicle-scene.
