Exterior Design

ROEWE RX5 MAX adopts a new family design style, with dot-matrix elements added inside the large-sized front grille and split headlight clusters, making the new car look very wild. At the same time, its front engine hatch bulging sinews, but also enhance the car’s sporty flavor. It is worth mentioning that, compared to the old model, the front grille of ROEWE RX5 MAX is pierced by the trim along the upper edge, further enhancing the overall recognition of the vehicle.

From the side view, ROEWE RX5 MAX adopts low-resistance mirrors and a fixed-wind double-wing spoiler, shaping a balanced sense of sportiness for the entire vehicle. Tail, compared with the sharp shape of the front end is relatively “simple”. Polygonal taillight group is connected by a chrome trim, with the large trapezoidal embedded license plate area below, enriching the car’s visual sense of hierarchy. At the same time, the bilateral total two exhaust layout, also makes the car look more sporty.

The 2.0T model will be equipped with SAIC’s “Blue Core” 400TGI high-power engine, matched with a 6-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, with a maximum power of 170kW and a maximum torque of 370Nm; and the 1.5T model will be equipped with a new-generation “Blue Core” 300TGI engine, matched with a 6-speed manual transmission commonly used by high-end joint-venture brands, with a maximum power of 127kW and a maximum torque of 275Nm.
