Exterior Design

As a shooting brake, the SAIC Z7T features a rounded, full-bodied rear end with full-width taillights that complement its fastback roofline. The SAIC Z7 and Z7T are available in 10 exterior colors: Ceramic White, Gold Black, Luminous Silver, Phantom Purple, Extraordinary Pink, Duvier Blue, Clear Blue, Amber Gold Green, Electric Purple Pink, and Evening Mountain Fresh Green. Among these, Electric Purple Pink is exclusive to the Shangjie Z7, while Evening Mountain Fresh Green is exclusive to the SAIC Z7T. In terms of dimensions, the SAIC Z7T measures 5,036 (5,051) mm in length, 1,976 (1,980) mm in width, and 1,465 (1,445) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The vehicle’s design incorporates elements such as Urban Glow headlights, frameless doors, an illuminated emblem, and a full-width “Milky Way”-inspired taillight. Specific configurations include Urban Glow headlights, Diamond Cluster taillights, semi-concealed door handles, and frameless side mirrors. Users can also opt for the Wind Chaser Sport Package and a mixed-size tire setup (245mm front, 275mm rear). Additionally, the new model has unveiled unique rear badge and wheel designs. As a station wagon, its practicality is evident in the trunk space, which features a maximum opening width of 874 mm and a maximum expandable volume of 1,694 liters.

Interior Design

The SAIC Z7 and Z7T are the first to feature an adaptive four-dimensional display, which supports automatic orientation and intelligent welcome interactions. The passenger-side “Inspiration Window” is a recessed storage compartment with a magnetic base, designed to hold collectible figurines. In terms of interior design, the Shangjie Z7T offers five stylish color schemes: Midnight Red, Speed Shadow Yellow, Midnight Purple, Shimmering Gold Black, and Misty Cloud Apricot. The youthful two-tone design, paired with integrated sport seats, creates a more ceremonial cabin atmosphere for young users, maximizing emotional appeal.

Powertrain

The SAIC Z7T Max version features a single-motor rear-wheel-drive layout with a maximum power output of 264 kW. It is equipped with an 81 kWh battery (LFP/NCM) and comes with features such as a zero-gravity front passenger seat, a head-up display (HUD), and CDC (Continuously Damped Control) suspension. Building on the Max version, the Max+ version upgrades the battery capacity to a 100kWh ternary lithium battery and adds air suspension. The Ultra version features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout with a combined system power of 434kW and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.44 seconds. It is equipped with a 100kWh ternary lithium battery, air suspension, and the CDC damping system, and adds features such as a zero-gravity driver’s seat, Nappa leather seats, and a color-changing panoramic sunroof. All three versions are equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.1 intelligent driving system, Huawei’s 896-line dual-path image-grade LiDAR, Huawei’s Tuling chassis, and Huawei’s Juwang 800V high-voltage battery platform.
