Exterior Design

The AION S Plus features the brand’s signature design language, with an exterior that closely resembles the 2020 model. However, it’s worth noting that the AION S Plus incorporates a two-tone color scheme, along with new wheel designs and hidden door handles. At the rear, the AION S Plus features full-width taillights. Notably, it offers a two-tone color scheme in Ice Rose Pink and Black, giving it a very stylish appearance that aligns with current mainstream color trends.

With dimensions of 4,810 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,515 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm, the AION S Plus is slightly longer and slightly lower than the AION S, while maintaining the same wheelbase. This results in a more balanced and sleeker overall profile.

Interior Design

The interior of the AION S Plus has undergone significant changes. It features a floating central touchscreen and a large digital instrument cluster, while eliminating most physical buttons. The use of high-quality leather materials and fine stitching has significantly enhanced the overall interior quality. Additionally, the cabin includes a dedicated smartphone storage area and a rotary electronic gear selector, effectively balancing a high-tech aesthetic with practicality.

The AION S Plus comes standard with sport-style seats, available in either a leather-fabric blend or synthetic leather. The seats offer good overall comfort, particularly in the rear, where the seat cushions are very thick and comfortable. Combined with the nearly flat rear floor and rear air vents, the overall ride experience is excellent—even with a wheelbase of less than 2.8 meters—whether for family use or a sportier driving style. the AION S Plus delivers a solid performance. Furthermore, the AION S Plus is equipped with a panoramic sunroof spanning 1.9 square meters. A particularly noteworthy detail is that this panoramic sunroof utilizes third-generation flexible electrochromic technology, capable of blocking 99.9% of UV rays.

Powertrain

The AION S Plus offers different powertrain and range specifications across the 60, 70, and 80 variants. The 60 variant features a single motor with a maximum power output of 100 kW and an all-electric range of 410 km; the 70 variant features a single motor with a maximum power output of 150 kW and an all-electric range of 510 km; and the 80 variant features a single motor with a maximum power output of 165 kW and an all-electric range of 602 km. In terms of performance, all three versions of the AION S Plus are more than sufficient. Even the 60 variant achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 9.6 seconds, while the mid-range model is 2 seconds faster, clocking in at 7.6 seconds.
