Exterior Design

The JMEV Yichi 05 features split-matrix L-shaped headlights, paired with a closed-off grille and hidden door handles, which fully showcase its new energy vehicle characteristics. Of course, the fastback design is also particularly popular among younger consumers. The rear features L-shaped taillights that complement the headlights perfectly, though Brother Hao can’t help but feel they evoke a certain “Hongqi” vibe. In addition, the new model offers five body color options: Moonlight White, Jet Black, Sky Blue, Twilight Blue, and Mountain Purple.

Interior Design

The interior of the JMEV Yichi 05 embodies a typical mainstream design style for new energy vehicles. The 10.25-inch + 12.3-inch high-definition dual-screen setup significantly enhances its high-tech feel and supports features such as 540-degree panoramic imaging and remote control via app. At the same time, the new model features Level 2.5 driver-assistance capabilities, including lane departure warning, collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and intelligent high beams, among others. Of course, unique features such as eight types of gesture control and contactless charging also add significant value to the vehicle.

In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,675 × 1,835 × 1,480 millimeters in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,750 millimeters. The standard trunk capacity is 410 liters, expandable to a maximum of 1,830 liters when the rear seats are folded down. While these figures are fairly standard, they are more than sufficient for the daily needs of a family of three. It’s worth noting that the vehicle also features 18 thoughtfully designed storage compartments.

Powertrain

The JMEV Yichi 05 is available in single-motor and dual-motor versions. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 165 kilowatts; maximum torque of 210 N·m, and an all-electric range of 550 kilometers. The manufacturer states that energy consumption is 11.9 kWh per 100 kilometers. According to Brother Hao’s real-world testing, charging from 30% to 60% takes 15 minutes and costs approximately 18 yuan (prices may vary slightly by region and time of day; this is for reference only). The dual-motor version has a maximum power output of 170 kilowatts; maximum torque of 395 Newton-meters; an all-electric range of 470 kilometers; and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.8 seconds.
