The side profile features a sleek dual-character line design, while the 4,826 mm length and 2,977 mm wheelbase create a visually balanced and spacious silhouette. At the rear, the full-width LED taillights and dual exhaust tips emphasize the vehicle’s sporty character. Compared to the BMW X3’s bold lines and the Audi Q5L’s conservative design, the GLC strikes a unique balance between elegance and dynamism. A subtle optimization—with the body height set 3–5 cm higher than its competitors—enhances the vehicle’s sense of stability.

Interior Design

The Mercedes Benz GLC’s interior adopts a yacht-inspired wraparound design, with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch vertical center display forming the core of the digital cockpit. The third-generation MBUX system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, offering a 40% faster response time to voice commands compared to the previous generation and supporting continuous conversation and dialect recognition. The haptic-feedback center console panel syncs with 64-color ambient lighting, projecting dynamic starlight patterns at night. Powertrain

The entire Mercedes Benz GLC lineup is equipped with a mild-hybrid system combining the M254 2.0T engine and an ISG electric motor. The GLC 300L model delivers a maximum power output of 258 horsepower and, paired with an improved 9-speed automatic transmission, reduces jerkiness at low speeds by 70% compared to the previous generation. The 48V system not only supports engine-off coasting but also provides an additional 20 N·m of torque assistance during rapid acceleration. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system now features an Off-Road mode, with the rear axle’s torque distribution ratio reaching up to 75%. Combined with a chassis setup that increases ground clearance by 15 mm, this significantly enhances the vehicle’s light off-road capabilities. The measured combined fuel consumption of 7.6 L/100 km is approximately 12% lower than that of the BMW X3 in the same class.
