The Eado EV is the quiet one. You know the type — never the loudest car on the lot, but the one that quietly does the job every single day. It’s a compact sedan, battery up front, one motor, nothing else. No engine pretending to be there. Just electrons.

Exterior

They kept the shape a proper three-box sedan. Old-school, sure, but in a lot of fleet markets sedans still outsell hatches by a mile, and buyers read that silhouette as “real car,” not some experiment. Front’s closed up like every EV, slim lights, nothing showy. Paint’s deep, panels line up. First look sells it.

Drag got more thought than you’d expect at this price. Wheels sized to help, underbody smoothed flat — that’s what keeps the range up once you’re past 100 km/h. And the boot? Actually usable. Not the sad compromise you get in a hatch.

Interior

Cabin’s built around the driver. Cluster, screen, both at a height that doesn’t make you crane your neck. Buttons where your hand already is. You stop looking for things after a day. Seats firm, hold you on the long urban slog. Rear’s flat, three adults fit if nobody’s huge. Compact, yeah — tall folks sit close. Call it snug, fine.

Storage’s honest. Deep console, bins in the doors, and that little cubby up front where an engine would’ve gone. Nothing’s wasted. Materials calm, tough — soft up top, wipe-clean down low. Looks new after a year of abuse.

Powertrain and Chassis

Pure BEV. One motor on the front wheels. No petrol, no range-extender, none of that. Which, honestly, is why fleets like it — one drivetrain to train mechanics on, one thing to service. Battery sits low, drops the weight down low, and the car corners steadier than you’d guess from the spec sheet. Trust it more than the numbers say you should.

Range is rated for how people actually drive — town, the odd inter-city run. Most owners never leave that loop, so a usable figure matters more than a big one on a poster. Charge at home on AC overnight, or DC fast charger when you’re out and in a hurry. Times shift with the weather and the charger, so take any number as a rough guess.

FAQ

Is the Eado EV a hybrid or a full electric? It is a full battery-electric vehicle (BEV). A single motor, a battery, and no engine at all — not a hybrid, not a range-extender.

How do I charge it? It accepts AC charging at home or work via a wallbox, and DC fast charging on the public network for quicker top-ups on the road.

Is it suited to fleet or ride-hail use? Yes. Low running cost per kilometre, simple single-motor drivetrain, and a proper sedan body make it a strong fleet candidate.

Can I import the Changan Eado EV to my country? Import rules differ by destination, and homologation, left/right-hand drive, and charging-standard compliance all apply. Speak with a licensed importer in your market before committing.
