Honeycomb Battery Technology
This is JAC’s core solution to the problem of thermal runaway batteries. Through the bionic design, the cylindrical cells are arranged in a honeycomb shape, and each cell is independently encapsulated and adopts thermal isolation, electrical isolation, and thermal electrolytic coupling technologies, so that even if a single cell fails, it will not cause the heat spread of the whole pack, thus realizing the safety promise of “never spontaneous combustion”. The technology has accumulated more than 200 patents and has been verified by 17 years and 260,000 vehicles. It supports a variety of chemical systems such as lithium iron phosphate, lithium ternary and sodium ion batteries. For example, the battery pack for EV3 utilizes a 4695 large cylindrical cell, combined with a serpentine cooling plate and potting adhesive process to achieve industry-leading levels of thermal management efficiency and safety.
Nine-in-one super electric drive system
The world’s most integrated electric drive technology for mass production integrates nine high-voltage components such as the motor, reducer, controller, and on-board charger into one unit, reducing volume and weight by 40% compared to the previous generation while improving energy efficiency to 92%. The technology not only supports the EV3 to achieve acceleration performance of 7.8 seconds, but also improves driving smoothness through NVH optimization and the 3-in-1 braking system, enabling the vehicle to achieve a balance between power and energy consumption.
DI Pure Electric Platform
The world’s first pure-electric platform designed specifically for A-class vehicles, it adopts a highly integrated architecture to optimize the space layout of the electric drive compartment and the passenger compartment. For example, the EV3 is only 4 meters long but has a wheelbase of 2,620 mm, making it as spacious as a B-class car. The platform is compatible with front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, supports a maximum range of 800km and a 10-minute flash charging of 300km, and has a reserved interface for power exchange, which integrates CTC technology to decouple the battery pack from the body and improve maintenance convenience.
OS Intelligent Cockpit System
Jointly customized with KDDI and Huawei, the intelligent interaction system is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and 15.6-inch large screen, supporting voice control, one-key scene modes (e.g., “Baby Mode” automatically adjusts air conditioning/volume), and L2-level assisted driving. Through 360° ring shadow, 12 ultrasonic radar and 3 millimeter wave radar to achieve accurate environmental awareness, combined with OTA upgrade to continuously optimize the user experience.
