Intelligent Internet Connection and Automatic Driving Technology
JMEV and Baidu Apollo have cooperated deeply to launch the “YiChi 06”, the first model equipped with the sixth-generation intelligent system solution in China. Based on Baidu’s Apollo ADFM model, the model realizes L4-level unmanned driving functions in specific scenarios, for example, it can autonomously complete up and down slopes, sharp turns and complex parking maneuvers in the test. The system integrates 16-line LIDAR, high-precision positioning antenna and other hardware, supports OTA continuous upgrading, and will gradually expand to urban NOA functions in the future. At present, this technology has realized commercial operation in the field of unmanned cabs, and has been approved for 43 national, provincial and municipal key R&D projects.
High-efficiency Electric Drive and Hybrid Technology
The self-developed Kunpeng hybrid engine adopts long-stroke design, Miller cycle and low-pressure EGR technology, with a thermal efficiency of 42.53%, ranking first in the industry. The matching 2DHT electromechanical coupling system integrates dual motors and dual clutches, which reduces the size by 15% but supports sensorless shifting, and realizes a comprehensive range of 1,100km and feed-in fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km in models such as EFU 05. Regarding the pure electric platform, the forward-developed commercial vehicle architecture reduces the weight of the vehicle by 43kg through lightweight design, and reduces energy consumption by 12% by matching with the EHB brake energy recovery technology, which is the most advanced technology in the industry. E Fushun commercial vehicle saves more than 30% of electricity cost per kilometer compared with competitors.
Innovations in Battery and Three Electric Systems
The first soft-packed CTP (Cell to Pack) battery technology, and the sodium-ion battery jointly developed with Vonergy, with an energy density of 140-160Wh/kg, a capacity retention rate of over 91% at -20℃, and a cycle life of more than 3,000 times. As for lithium-ion battery, it adopts solid-state battery technology with oxide composite electrolyte, passes extreme safety tests such as pinprick and overcharging, and is equipped with intelligent BMS management system, which enables models such as EV3 PLUS to have a range of up to 320km. the triboelectricity labs are equipped with the ability to test the whole lifecycle of core components, and have obtained a cumulative total of 692 patents, of which 51 are patents of invention.
Lightweight Body Technology
Through the application of all-aluminum and steel-aluminum hybrid materials, combined with the improvement of thin-wall and hollowing process, the body has achieved 15% weight reduction while maintaining high strength. For example, the Yizhi 06 adopts a cage-type body with over 30% of thermoformed parts and 80% of high-strength steel, and was awarded the “Passenger Car Innovation Award” at the 15th International Automotive Lightweighting Conference. This technology reduces energy consumption by 8%, improves range by 10%, and significantly improves crash safety performance.
5G Intelligent Manufacturing Energy Factory
The industry-leading Industry 4.0 factory is equipped with 240 robots in the welding workshop to realize 100% automated welding, and 37 ABB robots in the painting workshop to complete fully automated spraying. Connected to MES system through 5G private network, it realizes three transparent management of equipment, personnel and process, and the value of production data is increased by 15%, and the defective rate tends to be close to zero. The factory has been awarded 254 new patents, supporting the flexible production of Yi series, Yi to series and other multi-platform models, and shortening the development cycle of a single model to 18 months.
