Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. is jointly funded by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., Mazda Motor Corporation, China First Automobile Corporation, and Mazda (China) Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. with 47.5%, 46.55%, 5%, and 0.95% of the shareholding respectively. It is Mazda’s only vehicle manufacturing company overseas that integrates R&D, manufacturing and sales.
On September 28, 2017, J.D. Power, an authoritative global market research organization, released the 2017 China New Car Quality Study (IQS) report, in which Changan Mazda claimed the third place in the quality ranking.
