Exterior Design
The Honda Vezel’s exterior design aligns with its predecessor, featuring a horizontal-strip grille and integrated headlights. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, LED low/high beams, and automatic headlight functionality. The body incorporates blacked-out trim, paired with 215mm-wide tires and 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear incorporates a full-width LED light bar, while both bumpers feature gunmetal gray protective panels. With a loaded ground clearance of 150mm, it offers solid off-road capability. Dimensions measure 4380/1790/1590mm, with a wheelbase of 2610mm.
Interior Design
The Honda Vezel maintains a relatively minimalist interior layout, featuring a 4.2-inch color instrument cluster. The steering wheel lacks multifunction controls, though the center dashboard’s floating touchscreen has been upgraded to a 10.1-inch display. The 2023 model offers 8-inch and 9-inch touchscreens. Beyond basic multimedia functions, it supports CarPlay, CarLife, and HiCar smartphone screen mirroring—adding CarPlay and HiCar connectivity compared to the 2023 version.
Standard features include automatic climate control, four USB ports (front and rear), four speakers, one-touch power windows for the driver’s side, power-adjustable/folding exterior mirrors, and push-button start. Compared to the 2023 model, it adds keyless entry for the front doors, rear air vents, and a rearview camera—particularly useful for novice and female drivers.
Additionally, the Honda Vezel’s seat upholstery has been upgraded to a leather/fabric blend. Both front seats are manually adjustable, and the rear seatback angle is also manually adjustable. Three independently adjustable headrests are provided. While the features aren’t extensive, the ride comfort is commendable. The rear legroom is quite spacious, and the rear seatbacks can be folded down in a split configuration to expand cargo space, making it well-suited for family use.
Powertrain
The Honda Vezel continues with its 1.5L engine paired with a CVT transmission. The 1.5L engine delivers a system output of 91kW (124PS), utilizing direct injection fuel delivery and requiring 92-octane gasoline. In daily driving, power response is responsive, with smooth and seamless power delivery. The WLTC combined fuel consumption is 6.3L/100km. Real-world owner feedback indicates the Vezel’s average fuel consumption falls between 7.5-8 L/100 km. The chassis features a front MacPherson strut independent suspension paired with a rear torsion beam non-independent suspension.
