Exterior Design
Skoda Kamiq GT grille with a double straight waterfall center mesh design, the two sides of the headlamps and grille fused to form a one-piece modeling. In addition, the new car front surround is also used through the ventilation/heat dissipation openings, the entire details with a full sense of fashion. It is worthwhile to note that the new car will also provide playful gold, magic red, literary white, freedom blue and other youthful body colors and with heterochromatic roof.
The side lines have not changed much, giving people a very simple and powerful feeling, but the black roof coupled with the silver D-pillar makes Kamiq GT’s side face has been significantly improved, and this detail also comes from the VISIONGT concept car at the time, and narrowly escaped the modification of Skoda’s European designers, but ultimately because of the insistence of the Chinese designers to be retained.
The tail is fuller and thicker, the tail lights are sharper, and the lower surround also uses a penetrating trim and hidden exhaust layout, which looks much more low-key. The black roof and silver D-pillar trim effectively enhance the side face value, while the addition of LED headlights and keyless entry also enhance the practicality of the vehicle.
Interior Design
The Skoda Kamiq GT comes standard with an 8-inch mirrored touchscreen with Skoda Digital Connect, and the seats use a GT-style one-piece design; otherwise, the new car is equipped with a fully automatic air conditioner with PM2.5-filtered air purification system, an ESP body electronic stability system that integrates 20 functions, a reversing rear-view camera system, a PDC digital reversing thunderbolt, a fixed-speed cruise control, and a panoramic sunroof, among other daily Practical configuration.
Kamiq GT seats use leather + fabric patchwork material. The front seats have a one-piece sporty style and are embellished with stitching, which has a very good visual effect, and the wrapping on the sides of the legs and waist is also in place, the seats give a solid feeling, but it is a bit of a pity that they are not equipped with power adjustment.
Power
Powering the 2021 Skoda Kamiq GT continues to be a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine and a 1.2T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with maximum power of 82 kW and 85 kW and peak torque of 145 Nm and 200 Nm respectively. In terms of transmission, the 1.5-liter engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and the 1.2T engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
