Exterior

The exterior design of Li i8 combines the design elements of Li L8 and MEGA. The front face adopts the “bullet head” shape, equipped with the iconic star-ring lamps, located under the front windshield, which is the same as that of MEGA, and the shape of the front surround is similar to that of Li L series models, with the headlamps integrated on both sides of the surround, which is of good overall integrity. The front surround is similar to the Ideal L series, with the headlamps integrated on both sides of the surround, giving it a good sense of wholeness.
The rear design is closer to Li L8, abandoning the aggressive style of MEGA, equipped with slender through-type taillight group, returning to a more modest shape, avoiding the lessons of the previous MEGA appearance controversy.
Li i8 with length, width and height of 5085/1960/1740mm respectively, wheelbase 3050mm.

Interior

Interior, according to the official picture, speculation is that the i8 will continue to follow the classic combination of dual-link screen + HUD + small-sized instrumentation. From the Li official drawings, we can see that the Li i8 pure electric SUV adopts a hugging cockpit design, provides light-colored interior, and the metal decoration inside the car has changed from the original matte silver to champagne gold; the steering wheel continues the family style, equipped with a small-sized instrument screen, while the front of the new speaker cover; the door panels of the car are covered with leather; equipped with a dual-link screen and an AR-HUD head-up display, etc.; the seats are completely new shapes! , the right side of the second row is a zero-gravity seat; the front row uses power air vents. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with speakers at the rear door panels, interior door pulls, window lift buttons, and a rear sunshade.

Power

In terms of power, the Li i8 will be based on the 800V high-voltage platform with electric 4WD and 5C charging technology across the board. As a reference, Li MEGA is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, with a combined system power of 400 kW, a combined torque of 542 Nm, and an acceleration time of 5.5 seconds for 100km, matched with a battery pack with a capacity of 102.7 kWh, and a CLTC pure-electric range of 710km, and a peak charging power of more than 520 kW using Li’s 5C charging piles, which can be replenished for 500km in 12 minutes of charging.
