The iCAR 03 is an all-electric compact crossover SUV launched by Chery Automobile and debuted at the 2023 Chengdu Auto Show. With its unique design concept and advanced electric technology, the iCAR 03 marks a big step forward for Chery in the field of new energy vehicles. iCAR 03’s design is inspired by “technology, future, green and ecology”, aiming to provide users with a brand new driving experience and lifestyle.

Exterior Design

The Exterior design of iCAR 03 is full of futuristic and dynamic. The body lines are smooth, and the front face adopts the “i” type digital intelligent lamps, which not only provides excellent lighting effect, but also enhances the recognition of the vehicle. The side lines of the vehicle are simple and powerful, and with the black roof and contour, it shows a strong sporty flavor. The design of the rear of the vehicle is equally simple, with the taillights echoing the headlights, and the overall shape is stable but not losing fashion.

Interior design

In terms of Interior, iCAR 03 adopts a simple and uncomplicated design style. The interior makes extensive use of straight line elements to create a driving environment with a sense of technology. The center console is equipped with a large HD touch screen, and almost all control functions can be completed through the touch screen, greatly simplifying the operation process. The seats have a sporty design that not only provides good support but also increases the comfort of the ride.

Performance Specifications

In terms of performance, iCAR 03 is available in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive power configurations. The single-motor version has a maximum power of 137 kW (approx. 184 hp), while the dual-motor version reaches 208 kW (approx. 279 hp). As for the battery, the iCAR 03 is equipped with a 69.8 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery with a range of up to 500 kilometers. There are also solar panels on the roof to increase the range.

Configuration and Features

The iCAR 03 spares no expense when it comes to features. The vehicle is equipped with high-end features such as front/rear parking radar, 540-degree panoramic video, side blind zone image, NFC key, and an openable panoramic sunroof. In terms of intelligence, iCAR 03 provides up to 10 driving modes, which can be flexibly switched according to different road conditions and personal preferences, enhancing driving safety and comfort. In addition, iCAR 03 also supports intelligent electronically controlled four-wheel drive, which is able to automatically switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive to adapt to different driving conditions.
