Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Jetour Freedom 7 PLUS largely follows the style of the previous Jetour Freedom, featuring a boxy silhouette with sharp, angular lines. The front fascia features blacked-out headlight clusters and a front grille, while the robust bumper adds to its rugged appearance. Viewed from the side, the new model retains the floating roof design, with blacked-out taillights that echo the front headlights. The “small backpack”-like attachment on the rear serves as a storage compartment.
Interior Design
The Jetour Freedom 7 PLUS also follows the design direction of the Freedom 7, featuring a 15.6-inch 2.5K ultra-high-definition screen on the center console. The passenger-side armrest reinforces the boxy aesthetic, while the vehicle has been fitted with a newly styled steering wheel and a large floating screen, retaining the central gear selector. In terms of space, the rear seats can be folded completely flat to create a “large bed” measuring nearly 2 meters. The interior is equipped with “Comfort Cloud Seats” featuring 10 comfort settings, a massage function for the driver’s seat, a “Queen’s Seat” for the front passenger, and a 14-speaker “Boya Sound” audio system, creating an excellent driving and riding environment.
Powertrain
The Jetour Freedom 7 PLUS is powered by a 2.0TD Kunpeng engine, delivering a maximum power output of 187 kW and peak torque of 390 N·m. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, it provides powerful and reliable performance. In terms of off-road capability, the new model is equipped with the XWD fully automatic intelligent all-wheel-drive system, featuring a “7+X” one-touch off-road mode that automatically identifies road conditions and switches to the appropriate mode. Both the approach and departure angles are 28°, and the minimum ground clearance reaches 200 mm.
