Exterior Design
Inspired by the concept of “still waters run deep,” the Ford Escape features a serene blue teardrop silhouette. The 2.0T AWD “Yuexiang” and 2.0T AWD “Jiaxiang” trims are equipped with a highly distinctive octagonal “Stellar Sky” concept grille, whose interplay of light and shadow evokes the vastness of a nebula; paired with 3D LED headlights that use layered, progressive modules to create a jewel-cut effect.
Viewed from the side, the Ford Escape features a low-sloping A-pillar and a fastback body design, achieving superior aerodynamic performance with a drag coefficient as low as 0.33, which further reduces fuel consumption and wind noise; multi-layered sculpted surfaces create a sophisticated, three-dimensional rear end, while the water-drop-inspired proportions of the tailgate design enhance rear passenger and cargo space efficiency and reinforce the overall sense of volume in the exterior.
Interior Design
The driver-centric, wraparound dashboard design is understated and elegant, free of excessive design elements. Generous use of soft-touch materials, paired with double-stitched accents throughout, creates a look that, while not immediately stunning, is very pleasing to the eye—one that will still be described as “classic” years from now. The ST-LINE trim also features Alcantara upholstery. This wraparound design ensures practical ease of use for both the driver and front passenger; The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster isn’t just large—it’s also intelligent, allowing users to customize the display according to their needs. The interior extensively utilizes premium, eco-friendly soft-touch materials, with three distinct color schemes—Elegant Brown, Neutral Gray, and Deep Black—to cater to a wider range of personal preferences. Exquisite double-stitching on the door panels, center armrest, and dashboard further enhances the sense of quality.
Powertrain
The entire Ford Escape lineup is equipped with the golden powertrain combination of the fourth-generation EcoBoost® 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission (8AT) and the all-new on-demand all-wheel drive system. It delivers a maximum power output of 248 horsepower and peak torque of 393 N·m, with the entire lineup accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.
