New Baojun is an independent automobile brand created by SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Company Limited in 2019.On April 11, 2019, the new Baojun brand was officially launched. The new Baojun brand was officially launched on April 11, 2019, with the brand proposition of “Creating a new life of mobility”.
In 2020, New Baojun will launch a new brand proposition of “Intelligent Vehicle Pioneer”. New Baojun, as a pioneer of intelligent cars, takes youth, technology, intelligence and internet connection as its brand gene.
Currently, the mainstream products under the Baojun brand include Baojun Yep, Baojun Yep Plus, Baojun Kiwi EV, Baojun Cloud, Baojun Yunhai EV Version and PHEV Version.

Smart Eyes Intelligent Driving Technology
Baojun and Joymaster (formerly DJI Smart Driving) have cooperated to develop the Spirit Eyes Smart Driving Technology, which realizes full-scene intelligent driving assistance through high-precision sensors and composite algorithms. The technology supports ACC adaptive cruise control in the 0-150km/h speed range, BCA cornering cruise assist (automatically adjusting cornering speed), and 5-level collision avoidance system (including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, etc.), which significantly improves driving safety and comfort.
New Energy Battery Technology
Baojun YunDuo is equipped with the “Divine Refinement Battery”, which adopts the original MUST integrated structure, improves the strength of the battery pack by more than 10%, and supports IP68 protection level. The battery cell applies “ask top technology” to optimize the internal structure, and passes the strict test to guarantee the safety, the CLTC range reaches 460km, and supports 30-minute fast charging (30%-80%).
5G Remote Driving Control and Digital Connectivity
New Baojun takes the lead in the application of 5G technology to realize open road remote driving control and explore the interconnection scenarios between car and home and car and road. Vehicle networking 2.0 version introduces voiceprint recognition and digital recognition N2N technology, realizing personalized user space and free switching of multiple devices.
R-platform and Hot Stamping
The R platform, which is compatible with fuel and new energy power, integrates a number of intelligent technologies. The body adopts hot-stamped ultra-high-strength steel to enhance safety and lightweighting, and the proportion of hot-stamped parts in a single vehicle is gradually increasing46.
High-precision Production Line
The plant complies with GM’s BIQ Level 4 standard, with an automation rate of 78%, using 306 robots and digital measurement technology to ensure the precision of body-in-white manufacturing.
