Luxeed is a smart car brand jointly created by Huawei and Chery.
Luxeed is an important layout for Chery’s high-end market, and its positioning is higher than that of existing brands such as Jetour and Exeed. Luxeed brand models will be based on the code-named E0X platform to build, planning at least five high-end intelligent pure electric models, including sedans and SUVs, and it is now known that the upcoming release of the coupe Luxeed S7 and coupe SUV Luxeed S9 is not the outside world’s initial speculation that only sedans, and ask the world of effective isolation of the brand.
These models will feature a lightweight steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, equipped with Huawei’s Hongmeng Intelligent Eco Pod and applying Huawei’s latest intelligent driving technology, namely with Hongmeng HarmonyOS 4 and Huawei ADS 2.0 Intelligent Driving. Luxeed will also cooperate with Ningde Times and others to equip a high-performance, high-safety and high-range power battery system.
The biggest attraction of the Luxeed brand is the strong collaboration between Chery and Huawei, followed by Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4 and ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system.
Currently, the mainstream products under the Aion brand include Luxeed S7 and Luxeed R7.

HUAWEI ADS 3.0 High-order Intelligent Driving System
The ADS 3.0 equipped on the Smart R7 is Huawei’s newly developed end-to-end architecture system, which deeply integrates 28 sensors such as LIDAR, millimeter-wave radar, and vision cameras, and supports mapless city NOA and national high-speed coverage. Its core innovation lies in the introduction of human-like decision-making models, through 1 billion kilometers of data training to achieve complex scene autonomous response, such as accurate identification of construction cones, shaped obstacles, and the first “space to space” full-scene intelligent driving ability (support basement automatic parking). Tests have shown that the system ranks second in the world in the German P3 evaluation, with a takeover rate as low as 0.3 times per 1,000 kilometers, and a response speed that is three times higher than that of traditional solutions.
Huawei's “Giant Whale” 800V High-voltage Battery Platform
The platform adopts the Ningde Times Kirin battery architecture and supports 800V high-voltage supercharging technology, which can increase the range by 200km in 5 minutes of charging and replenish 80% of the energy in 15 minutes (CLTC range of 650km). The battery pack is designed with 10 layers of safety protection, including 3 layers of special protection at the bottom and an intelligent liquid cooling system, with the temperature difference of the electric cell controlled within ±2°C and a cycle life of 3,000 times. In the low-temperature test, the range of Smart S7 still reaches 79% in -20℃ environment, and is equipped with cloud-based BMS to monitor the battery status in real time, realizing the warning of abnormality 30 minutes before.
Hongmeng Intelligent Cockpit 4.0
Based on Qualcomm 8295 chip and HarmonyOS 4 system, equipped with 15.6-inch 6K all-in-one screen, the first “Super Desktop 2.0” supports split-screen multitasking (e.g., synchronized display of navigation and video). Equipped with Pangu big model voice assistant “Xiaoyi”, supporting lip movement recognition and continuous dialogue, with a response speed of less than 500ms, the rear is equipped with a HUAWEI MagLink expansion screen, which realizes the seamless flow of the tablet and the car machine and integrates a Dolby Atmos 17-speaker sound system to create an immersive interactive experience.
Huawei Turing Intelligent Chassis
The entire lineup comes standard with front double-wishbone + rear five-link suspension, integrated with DATS Dynamic Adaptive Torque Control and xMotion Intelligent Body Synergy technology. The 6D sensing system scans the road surface in real time and adjusts the suspension damping and motor torque in milliseconds, realizing anti-nodding for braking, anti-headlift for acceleration, and undulating road suppression. For example, the elk test score reaches 82.3km/h, 34.7m 100km braking distance, with FSD variable damping shock absorber, taking into account the handling and comfort.
