Yudo New Energy Vehicle Co. With the support of the national industrial policy for new energy vehicles, Yudo New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. was established in 2015 through the investment of state-owned funds at both the Fujian and Putian levels, the participation of listed companies, and the management’s shareholding, and the establishment of Yudo New Energy Vehicle, which is a mixed system of operation, to carry out the research and development, production, and sales of new energy vehicles and key components, by gathering the industry’s talents and resources on the basis of the Fuzhou Automobile Group in Fujian Province and Putian City.
Currently, the mainstream products under the Aion brand include Yudo K3.

New-generation Solid-state Battery and Lithium-sulfur Battery Technology
Yudo is developing a new generation of solid state batteries, which are scheduled for mass production in 2025, with energy density doubled compared to traditional lithium ternary batteries, cycle life extended by 10 times, and wider environmental adaptability. In addition, Yudo is also exploring higher energy density lithium-sulfur battery technology to further enhance range and fuel vehicle competitiveness.
High-efficiency Motor and Silicon Carbide Electronic Control System
Yudo has developed an oil-cooled flat copper wire motor with an effective power density of 7kW/kg, which significantly improves the NVH performance of the whole vehicle and solves the noise problem. Meanwhile, compared with the traditional IGBT controller, the silicon carbide-based motor controller reduces switching loss by 75%, overall loss by 30%, and volume by 50%, which improves the efficiency of electric control and driving performance.
Intelligent Modular Pure Electricity Platform
Yudo’s self-developed new-generation intelligent modular platform supports variable battery pack technology, allowing users to freely choose battery combinations; the platform covers A0 to B-class models, is compatible with front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive, and four-wheel-drive modes, and maximizes the space for battery arrangement, realizing rapid product iteration and high safety.
Intelligent Driving and Telematics Technology
Yudo plans to promote automatic driving technology in phases, realizing L2 level assisted driving in 2021, adapting L3 level in 2022, and aiming to realize fully automatic driving in 2025. At the same time, it gradually upgrades the whole vehicle control, battery management and entertainment system through OTA technology, and supports the customization of the interior and power system.
Lightweight and Vehicle Integration Technology
Relying on the three major technological architectures of “Cloud Power, Cloud Disk, and Cloud Enjoyment”, Yudo integrates vehicle integration and lightweight design, combines CIB battery-body integration and other processes to optimize range and body rigidity, and at the same time builds an intelligent interconnection ecosystem to enhance the driving experience.
