You already know this car. In China it sells as the Yuntu. Same body, same platform, same drivetrain — the Yudo K3 badge is the export identity, and I’d suggest you say so openly rather than pretend otherwise. The dash is screen-led, as you’d expect from a 2023 design, with a central touchscreen handling navigation and media and a digital cluster ahead of the driver. Climate has physical controls on most trims. I’d argue that’s the right balance, and I’d resist any temptation to strip them out for a cleaner look. Materials are a mixed bag, and I’ll be straight about it. Upper surfaces are soft-touch and pleasant. Lower down, it’s hard plastic, and the doors close with a sound that tells you where the money went. For a car at this price, acceptable. Boot space in the Yudo K3 is adequate for a weekly shop and a couple of suitcases. Fold the rear seats and you get a genuinely useful load bay for a small business or a family that carries bulky items. For traders and small operators in Turkish and Spanish provincial cities, that flexibility is a real selling point that the spec sheet undersells. Noise is the weakness. Road roar rises quickly on coarse surfaces, and I’d want you to test one on your own roads before committing. Powertrain and Chassis

One motor, driving the front wheels, with 70 kW behind it — 95 hp — and 165 N·m of torque. Let me translate that rather than leave you to guess: it is adequate for the job, and it is not quick. The number that actually tells you how this car behaves around town is the 0 to 50 km/h time, which lands between 4.2 and 4.5 seconds depending on version. That is brisk and confident in city traffic. Getting onto a motorway or overtaking on a two-lane road at 90 km/h is where you’ll feel the limit, and that’s honest information your salespeople should have before a customer discovers it on a test drive.

Battery options are 320 km and 415 km, both CLTC. Contrary to what you might assume, the smaller pack isn’t the compromise option. For a dealer in a dense urban market, the 320 km version covers the overwhelming majority of daily use, charges more cheaply and keeps the landed cost down. The 415 km version earns its place where customers face longer intercity runs or unreliable charging. Now the part that needs saying plainly. CLTC is not WLTP. It’s a more generous laboratory cycle, and European customers have spent years calibrating their expectations to WLTP figures. If you present the 415 km CLTC number as a WLTP equivalent, you will be answering awkward questions within a month. Tell buyers it’s a CLTC rating, explain the difference, and give them a realistic expectation instead. That conversation costs you a little at the point of sale and saves you a great deal afterwards.

Chassis is MacPherson strut front, torsion beam rear — conventional, cheap to service and well matched to the car’s role. Ride quality is comfortable at town speeds and gets busier on broken surfaces. Body control is fine for the class. The Yudo K3 isn’t a driver’s car and doesn’t pretend to be one.

One area where I’d temper expectations hard: advanced driver assistance. Ads and driver-monitoring features that work in China often need calibration, mapping and regulatory approval to work in Europe, and on many export builds they simply aren’t available or are restricted.
