The BYD Song MAX DM-i is a compact MPV powered by a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, and is available in two versions with 51 kilometers and 105 kilometers of pure electric range, respectively. The new car is also available in six-seat and seven-seat space layouts.
Exterior
BYD Song MAX DM-i adopts the family design language of “Dragon Face”, and the powerful headlamp cluster adopts a parallel light source layout, which has a high degree of recognition when lit up. The new car is equipped with deflector slots on both sides of the front enclosure, which matches the overall design style of the front face. Come to the side of the car, the new car adopts the more common double waistline design, floating roof can bring a strong sense of fashion for the vehicle.
Interior
The new car adopts a more classy and textured Interior design, and provides 6 and 7-seat seating layouts, of which the “lift-top” models are all 6-seaters. The seats of the new car adopt a gradient color scheme of white, light brown and dark brown, which highlights the warm and domestic atmosphere.
Performance
The new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L engine and an electric motor, with a maximum power of 81 kW and a peak torque of 135 Nm, and will be available in two versions of 51km/105km pure electric range. Among them, the pure electric range of 51 kilometers of the version has 4.4L/100km, while the pure electric range of 105 kilometers of the version of 4.5L/100km. two different range version of the model are equipped with DM-i super hybrid special power blade battery.
Configurations
The new model has been upgraded in terms of smart/technology features, the new BYD Song MAX DM-i will come standard with keyless entry/start, CN95 filter, 360-degree panoramic image, DiLink 4.0 intelligent internet system, in-car Bluetooth, in-car WiFi, in-car Karaoke entertainment system, intelligent voice interaction, intelligent cloud services, and electrically-adjustable main driver’s seat.
