Exterior design

The Cadillac XT5 still features the classic shield-shaped grille at the front of the car. The black mesh has a concave treatment and is outlined with sharp lines, giving it a strong three-dimensional effect. The edges of the bonnet are also equipped with silver chrome trims to enhance the sense of luxury. The headlight clusters adopt a split design, with the vertical light strips creating a powerful look. The front face is equipped with a wide air intake at the bottom, and the blackened front lip highlights the sporty attributes. In addition, the bonnet is large in size, and the raised ribbing on top also accentuates the muscular feel.

The sense of mechanical strength on the sides of the body is quite strong. Both the waistline and the side skirt fold lines adopt a cutting style, giving the whole vehicle more angles. The new car has been upgraded in terms of size, with a length, width and height of 4888/1957/1694mm and a wheelbase of 2863mm, which is an improvement over the current body size (4813/1903/1686mm, wheelbase 2857mm). The edges of the windows and the rearview mirror have been blackened, and the interior of the sporty wheels features 6-piston red calipers, further enhancing the dynamic atmosphere.

The bottom of the rear is relatively wide and outlined by multiple horizontal decorative strips, stretching the visual width of the rear. The two tail light clusters on the sides are relatively wide in shape, linked by a chrome strip in the centre, and paired with two exhausts on each side, giving the overall shape a highly recognisable appearance.

Interior design

The Cadillac XT5 continues to adopt the family design language, with the interior wrapped in large areas of leather, and the details outlined by black painted panels and metal trims, enhancing the sense of luxury in the car. The centre is equipped with the popular 33-inch dual screen, and the air conditioning vents are separated. A row of physical buttons is also retained at the bottom, giving the operation a strong mechanical feel. The control area is equipped with knob-type control keys, cup holders for children, and some basic physical buttons. It is worth mentioning that the new car is equipped with a new style steering wheel and a knob-type gearshift mechanism, and the overall design has changed significantly.

Because of the upgraded size data, the space comfort has been improved, and the space in the front and rear rows is more flexible. The configuration of some models has been upgraded, which can take into account both luxury and practicality.

Power

The 2025 Cadillac XT5 is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 169kW. It also offers two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models to choose from, and the transmission system is expected to still be matched with a 9AT transmission. In addition, the hummingbird chassis of the new car has also been optimised to perform better in extreme road conditions.
