Exterior Design
The Changan Oshan 530’s exterior design carries forward the Changan Oushang family’s design language, featuring an overall style that is simple and elegant, aligning with the positioning of a family-oriented soft-top vehicle.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,770 × 1,840 × 1,470 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm, placing it within the standard size range for compact soft-top vehicles. Compared to competitors in the same class, its 4,770 mm length ranks in the upper-middle range for compact cars, while the 2,765 mm wheelbase provides a solid foundation for interior space.
At the front, the closed-off grille design highlights its all-electric identity, paired with sharp LED headlight clusters and a full-width LED daytime running light strip, creating a stylish overall visual effect. The headlights feature automatic on/off, height adjustment, and delayed shut-off functions, ensuring practicality.
The side profile features sleek, elongated lines, with a character line extending from the front fender to the taillights, lending a sporty feel. The 17-inch alloy wheels feature a double-five-spoke design, and the 215/55 R17 tire specification strikes a balance between comfort and fuel efficiency.
The rear design is relatively simple, with LED taillights echoing the front headlights, resulting in an overall appearance that is dignified and refined. The trunk follows the standard three-box soft-top sedan layout, meeting everyday family needs.
Interior Design
Cockpit Area: The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel supports manual up/down and fore/aft adjustment, offering a comfortable grip. The electronic gear selector is positioned in the center console, freeing up space on the dashboard and providing front passengers with more legroom. The 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster displays clear visuals, showing key information such as speed, battery level, and range.
Center Console Area: This is the visual focal point of the cabin. The Smart Drive Edition is equipped with a 12.8-inch touchscreen, while the Smart Ride Edition features an upgraded 14.6-inch display, both running the Tianchu Smart OS system. The system supports voice recognition control, navigation, vehicle connectivity, OTA updates, 4G connectivity, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The voice assistant is activated by saying “Hello, Xiao An” and supports continuous voice recognition, offering good convenience for daily use. In terms of smartphone connectivity, the system supports CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, Carlink, and Honor CarLink, covering mainstream smartphone brands.
Seat Configuration: Both models feature faux leather seats. The driver’s seat offers 2-way adjustment (forward/backward and backrest angle), while the front passenger seat offers forward/backward and backrest angle adjustments. The front seats are equipped with ventilation (driver’s seat only), which enhances comfort during summer driving. It should be noted that neither model features power-adjustable front seats or seat heating, which is typical for vehicles in the 100,000-yuan price range.
Interior Space: The 2,765mm wheelbase provides ample legroom for rear passengers. The rear seats are equipped with air vents but do not feature independent climate control. The windows support one-touch operation for all windows and feature anti-pinch protection, ensuring daily convenience for rear passengers.
Powertrain
The powertrain is the core competitive advantage of the Changan Oshan 530. It is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor supplied by Chongqing Qingshan, model TZ180XS001, delivering a maximum power output of 105 kW (143 hp) and a maximum torque of 190 N·m, utilizing a front-mounted single-motor layout.
