Exterior Design
Chery Explore 06 C-DM adopts a large air intake grille in the front design, which is covered with straight waterfall chrome trim, with great visual impact; the split headlights are unique, the upper part of which is LED daytime running lights, which show a unique charm when lit, and the areas on both sides of the front enclosure are equipped with LED long- and short-distance lights.
The floating roof and black exterior mirrors complement each other, in line with the aesthetic orientation of contemporary young people. In addition, hidden door handles and 18-inch/19-inch low wind resistance wheels are also adopted. The rear design is more square, and the smoked through tail lamps effectively broaden the visual effect.
Interior Design
Explore 06 C-DM continues the design concept of Explore 06, the center console uses a lot of horizontal lines, the design of the air conditioning vents is also quite stylish. 10.25-inch LCD gauges and 13.2-inch floating center control screen create a strong technological atmosphere, and the built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset ensures the smooth operation of the car machine. It is worth mentioning that the door position of the Explore 06 C-DM has been redesigned with an electronic pocket gear mechanism.
In terms of configuration, the Explore 06 C-DM Comfort model is equipped with rich features such as main and passenger seat airbags, front side airbags, front and rear head air curtains, reversing radar, 540-degree panoramic video, automatic parking, hill assist, steep hill descent, cruise control, keyless entry and start, remote start, openable panoramic sunroof, automatic air conditioning, and Sony-branded audio. The Explore 06 C-DM Deluxe, on the other hand, adds an L2-level driver assistance system that includes advanced features such as active braking, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and full-speed adaptive cruise control.
Powertrain
The Explore 06 C-DM is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine (156 hp) and an electric motor with a maximum power of 150 kW and a maximum torque of 310 Nm. The system’s combined maximum power is 250 kW and the system’s combined maximum torque is 430 Nm. It uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 18.3 kWh, and has a CLTC pure electric range of 120 kilometers and a WLTC combined range of 1,300 kilometers.
