Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Kia EV5 adopts the family’s latest Opposites United design concept, retaining a large number of design elements from the concept car, with the styling emphasizing individuality and technology. The front face is very avant-garde, and compared with the homogenized EVs nowadays, the Kia EV5’s styling looks more unique and highly recognizable. The body dimensions are 4615 x 1875 x 1715mm, with a wheelbase of 2750mm, positioning it as a compact SUV.
Interior Style
In terms of interior, Kia EV5 pursues a minimalist yet technological design style. It is equipped with a four-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, an integrated floating large screen, and a pocket shifter, while the in-car system also adopts a new UI design to enhance practicality. The interior materials are based on the concept of sustainable development, using environmentally friendly renewable materials to create a comfortable, practical and warm interior environment.
Performance
In terms of power, the Kia EV5 is available in standard range and long range versions, equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 160kW and a peak torque of 310Nm. As for the battery, a lithium iron phosphate battery produced by BYD is used, which can travel 530 kilometers on a single charge (China CLTC standard).
