Exterior Design

The Peugeot 508 carries forward the exterior design language of the previous model. The front fascia features a frameless grille, a sharp, streamlined lion emblem, “Lion Eye” LED matrix headlights (with adaptive high/low beams on mid-to-high trim levels) paired with three-claw LED daytime running lights, and a front bumper with blacked-out trim and air intakes; The body features traditionally styled door handles, dual character lines, automatic anti-glare exterior mirrors (on the top-of-the-line trim), and blacked-out exterior mirror housings; the rear incorporates “Lion’s Claw” LED taillights (with blacked-out trim between the lights and “PEYGEOT” lettering), as well as a dual-exit exhaust system at the bottom of the rear bumper.

Interior Design

The Peugeot 508 also retains the interior layout of the previous model. The center console area features a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch central touchscreen. Additionally, the new model continues to use an electronic gear selector, and physical function buttons along with a touch-sensitive climate control panel are positioned below the central touchscreen.

In terms of features, the new model offers blind-spot monitoring, a 540° surround-view camera system, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry for the driver’s side, keyless start, 15W wireless phone charging for the front seats, an 8-speaker audio system, single-color ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, double-layered acoustic glass for the front windows, and dual-zone or triple-zone automatic climate control.

Powertrain

The Peugeot 508 is powered by a 1.8T engine paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission. It delivers a maximum power output of 155 kW (211 Ps) and peak torque of 300 N·m, with a top speed of 230 km/h and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 6.45 L/100 km.
