Exterior Design

Denza Z9 uses the latest “Elegant Momentum” design language, the exterior styling lines will look very smooth and have a strong sense of elegance. There will be some small differences between the pure electric version and the extended range version in the front end, but the overall use of a large closed structure. There will be two LIDARs on both sides of the bumper, which also indicates that the intelligent driving experience of this car will not be bad.

The hood is not a rounded smooth shape, but uses muscular lines to outline it. The front LED headlights are very large in size and extend to both sides, giving the front part of the car a strong sense of horizontal expansion. The Denza Z9’s side molding uses the golden ratio, which is why this car doesn’t look out of place even though it has an extra rear section than the Denza Z9GT. The curved shape of the waistline area reflects the light and shows great light and shadow effects. The vehicle’s length, width and height are 5220/1990/1500 (1518) mm, and its wheelbase is 3125 mm. the Denza Z9 is available in four exterior color schemes: Dark Night Purple, Star Obsidian Black, White Moon Beige, and Star Gray. Denza Z9 adopts frameless door design and supports electric opening and closing function.

The design of the rear of the vehicle is also very innovative, full and rounded shape looks like a certain wide-body effect, segmented taillight group is very recognizable. The taillights are large in size, but not designed to run through, which I personally think is also a reason to try to differentiate from the current crop of run-through taillights.

The wheels are styled with a multi-spoke design, which is a design element that many luxury brands like to adopt. Interior Design

In terms of overall design, the cabin of the Denza Z9 is actually basically not too different from the Z9GT, and is familiar with one of the Denza brand’s familial design ideas. The biggest difference, then, is that the gear lever on the Denza Z9GT has been replaced with an electronic pocket shifter from the traditional center sub-dashboard position, which is much better, both in terms of use and in terms of the layout of the interior space.

In the center is the familiar 15.6-inch high-definition center screen, which has very good display qualities. The car hardware uses BYD’s own BYD9000 customized car chip, which adopts a 4nm process and uses LPDDR5X specification storage, and also integrates a 5G network baseband.165K CPU power, so that its score reaches about 1,150,000 points, whether it is from the data or the actual experience, it is strong without words.

The latest Dilink150 system is used in the car system, which will be much richer in terms of functionality, supporting the current mainstream APP, users can also download their own through the app store, and the compatibility rate of the system has reached 100%.AI intelligent voice is also very useful, human-like dialog can easily understand the semantics, and the recognition is accurate.

Because of the new pocket gear design, so in Denza Z9’s center sub-dashboard part is particularly clean, in addition to dual cell phone wireless charging panel, cup holder, basically nothing else. The Denza Z9’s physical buttons have been moved to the front of the wireless phone charging panel for smoother operation. The lower part is still reserved for large-capacity storage space. A 4L cold and warm refrigerator is also integrated in the center armrest.

Coming to the back row of Denza Z9, we will find that this car is very generous, that is, it completely takes care of the feelings of all passengers in the back row, no matter what comfort configuration, it is a double share. For example, the rear seat seats left and right support power adjustment, ventilation and heating, as well as 10-point massage function, and all with leg rest. The right side position in the adjustment to the semi-reclining posture, the passenger seat will move forward, reserved for the rear leg space, the actual ride is still very comfortable. The rear side windows of the test-drive model also offer a power sunshade.

A 10L capacity cooler and heater box is also available at the rear. All the coolers and heaters in the car share the same air-conditioning compressor, so the cooling rate is quite powerful. The cooling range is from -6°C to 6°C, and the heating range is from 35°C to 50°C. The on-board cooling and heating boxes are standard across the range.
In terms of space performance, Denza Z9 is also the top level of the class.
