Exterior Design
The Honda XR-V’s exterior design stands as a quintessential example of the brand’s signature design language. Its white body paired with a star-studded grille embodies Honda’s distinctive aesthetic. The grille features a dot-matrix pattern, exuding a youthful and fashionable vibe. The minimalist headlight design complements the black plastic lower front bumper, creating an overall impression that is both striking and approachable.
Viewed from the side, the vehicle offers ample space. Its full-bodied silhouette is accentuated by a bold character line, conveying a sporty character. The rear design borrows elements from the UR-V, featuring a full-width taillight and hidden exhaust. The rear spoiler further enhances the dynamic overall appearance.
Interior Design
The Honda XR-V’s cabin has some drawbacks. The steering wheel, made of plastic, offers only average grip, a design choice that detracts from the interior’s overall feel and quality. Additionally, seat comfort is merely adequate and could be improved.
In terms of space, a 175cm-tall tester still enjoys one fist plus four fingers of headroom when entering the front driver’s seat. With the front seats unchanged, rear passengers benefit from one fist plus four fingers of legroom and two fists of headroom.
Powertrain
Power comes from a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine producing 124 horsepower (91 kW) and 145 N·m of peak torque. Power is transmitted through a CVT automatic transmission. While the engine’s specifications aren’t particularly standout among competitors in its class, it still delivers solid performance.
