On July 16, 2026, the Wuling Starlight L officially went on sale. It is available in three trim levels. Positioned as a mid-to-large-size six-seat SUV, the Wuling Starlight L has a wheelbase of 2,950 millimeters, features a six-seat interior layout, and is powered by a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system.

Exterior Design

The Wuling Starlight L adopts a Chinese-inspired design language, featuring a balanced, dignified, and minimalist style that aligns with mainstream aesthetics. The front fascia boasts a “majestic” design that is both steady and elegant, while the active air intake grille, paired with chrome trim along the sides of the body, enhances the sense of depth and sophistication. The Chinese-style “Star Gate” headlight cluster complements the full-width taillights, creating a strong visual identity. Notably, the new model features a Liuzhou landmark emblem on the lower corner of the front windshield, and the rear windshield is equipped with hidden windshield wipers.

In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,760 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The interior features a 2+2+2 independent six-seat layout.

Interior Design

The Wuling Starlight L continues the elegant Chinese aesthetic, using a symmetrical layout to create a neat and spacious cabin atmosphere. At the same time, the entire vehicle features high-quality soft-touch upholstery, ergonomically designed seats, and offers two interior color schemes: Cloud Glaze White and Sand Pottery Brown. In terms of features, the new model is equipped with an 8.8-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch center console screen, along with tech and comfort features such as 256-color ambient lighting, a front passenger “boss button,” and second-row folding tables.

Powertrain

All three models of the Wuling Starlight L launched this time are equipped with a plug-in hybrid system. They utilize a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine that incorporates multiple technologies, including the Atkinson cycle, ultra-high compression ratio, water-cooled EGR, and DVVT. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 78 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 130 Newton-meters, paired with an E-CVT transmission.
