The BYD Destroyer 05 is a compact sedan from BYD, which adopts BYD’s latest design language for the “Battleship” series. Positioned as an A+ class sedan, the car adopts the “Ocean Aesthetics” design concept, which perfectly illustrates the young, aggressive and open attitude of the new generation of BYD models.
Exterior Design
The front part of the Destroyer 05 adopts a borderless air intake mesh design, which makes the whole car look more noble, and the details show the delicacy.
Side part of the body, Destroyer 05 adopts smooth line design, the overall shape is well-proportioned and coordinated, with good visual effect.
The rear part of the car, the design of the destroyer 05 and the front face echo, still adopts a simple and atmospheric style.
Interior design
Interior design, Destroyer 05 uses minimalist lines naturally extending from the center control panel to the sides, creating a richly layered Interior space collocation.
The 12.8-inch adaptive rotating suspended center control screen (15.6-inch for high end) and the 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel have become the Interior matching style of BYD’s new generation of products.
The Interior color scheme also consists of four innovative color combinations: Basalt Black, Pale Dome Gray, Quantum High Gloss Gray and Pillar Pink.
Performance
The Destroyer 05 Champion Edition accelerates to zero hundred in 7.9s and 120KM in 7.3s, providing a smooth and stutter-free driving experience in all conditions, as well as a quietness that is unrivaled by pure fuel models.
The Destroyer 05 is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 197 hp and a maximum torque of 310 Nm.
