Lotus

Know The Brand

Lotus

Lotus is a world-famous sports and racing car manufacturer, once known as Lotus, headquartered in Hethel, Norfolk, England. Representative models include the Elise, Exige, Evora, Evija, and Emira.

Lotus has always remained true to the philosophy of the brand’s founder, Colin Chapman, “It’s all about the driver”, and has become an automotive brand that focuses on pure driving. Innovative engineering, cutting-edge technology and advanced materials ensure that every Lutz proves the value of performance through lightweighting. Reducing weight remains the most effective means of achieving a true connection between the driver and the vehicle and the road, a quality shared by every car that proudly carries the Lutus badge.

Colin Chapman famously said: Adding power makes you faster on the straights, subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

Currently, the mainstream products under the Lotus brand include Lotus Emeya and Lotus Eletre.

Aicar sell cars to dozens of countries and regions around the world. We welcome interested customers to visit our company, tour the factory, and find the right brand for cooperation. The following is the Lotus vehicle models that we are selling.

Full Linear Angle Control Modular Drive Unit (Lotus Throne core technology)

The core of the Lotus Throne technology developed by LRT is the integrated and highly-integrated Full Line Angle Control Modular Drive Unit (FLAMDU), which includes drive, steering and braking functions. The technology realizes independent control of all four wheels through mechanical and electrical decoupling, and the steerable angle of the wheel ends breaks through the traditional limitations to support maneuvering postures such as traversing, crab-type lane changing, and in-situ steering. For example, the chassis architecture allows the front and rear wheels to rotate in reverse (similar to a tank turning around), and the minimum turning radius is close to zero, which is far beyond the traditional solution that relies on torque difference. This technology is already being used in public service robots and next-generation smart cars, giving the vehicle the agility to maneuver like a “leapfrog”.

Extreme Aerodynamics

Lutz has introduced track-level aerodynamics to its production vehicles. For example, the Eletre, the first all-electric supercar SUV, features seven Race Aero ducts, an active air intake grille and a liftable rear wing, with a wind resistance as low as 0.26Cd, while generating a downforce of 90 kilograms. The original ‘porosity’ design concept (derived from the pure electric supercar Evija) reduces drag by directing airflow through body apertures, while a rear diffuser and skeletonized structure combined with a DRS variable rear wing maintains stable grip at top speeds of up to 265km/h.

800V EPA Electric Performance Architecture

The full 800V high-voltage platform supports 420kW supercharging from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes (CLTC range 650km). The architecture integrates a 100kWh battery pack from Ningde Times, with an energy density of 160Wh/kg, and an intelligent thermal management system to control the temperature difference of the battery cells by ±2°C. The Eletre dual-motor version has a peak power of 918hp and accelerates to zero 100 in 2.95 seconds, which is compatible with the development of models from the C+ to the E+ class, and lays the foundation for the development of a high-performance electrified vehicle.

ROBO Soul Advanced Intelligent Driving System

Equipped with 4 LIDARs, 6 millimeter wave radars and dual Orin-X chips (508TOPS arithmetic power), combined with ROBO Galaxy cloud data factory to realize end-to-end training. The system supports mapless city NOA, recognizing shaped obstacles such as construction cones and buckets through 4D millimeter wave radar, with a response speed 3 times higher than traditional solutions. The parallel guarding system monitors the driver’s status in real time, and combines with the vehicle-side data acquisition hardware (supporting 8-channel LIDAR + 16-channel camera) to build a full closed loop of intelligent driving.

Lightweight and Track-level Chassis Tuning

Inheriting 74 years of lightweight technology, Eletre adopts carbon fiber interior and aluminum body structure, and its weight is kept at 2.6 tons (the lowest in its class). 6D chassis integrates dual-chamber air suspension, CDC shock absorber and active anti-roll bar, which dynamically adjusts the body posture through 6 dimensions. The body height is lowered by 25mm in track mode, and with rear wheel steering (max. 3.5°), the car achieves 78km/h in the elk test, and its handling performance is on par with that of a supercar.
