The term “Fangchengbao” comes from the wonderful combination of ” Equation” and ” Leopard”, which means “using the professional wisdom and spirit of exploring the digital world to solve the personalized transformation of automobile and user life”. and personalized changes in the life of users”.
The combination of the standards and rules implied by Equation and the wildness and agility embodied by Leopard has inspired a unique brand color, and also presented the inherent characteristics of the Fangchengbao brand, bringing BYD’s bold thoughts and explorations on the future of automobile and car life to the forefront. DMO Super Hybrid Off-Road Platform
DMO (Dual Mode Off-Road) is the core technology platform of Equation Leopard, which is based on electric drive and designed for off-road scenarios, incorporating a number of innovations:
Longitudinal EHS hybrid system: the world’s first longitudinal layout hybrid system, integrating 200kW front-drive motor and 285kW rear-drive motor, with a combined power of more than 500kW, which is comparable to the performance of a 4.0T engine in a traditional fuel vehicle, and at the same time, supports the intelligent electric four-wheel-drive and “Leopard Turnaround” function (turning radius of only 3.4 meters).
High Thermal Efficiency Engine: Equipped with 1.5T/2.0T longitudinal Snapdragon engine, the thermal efficiency reaches 40%, and with 350bar high-pressure fuel injection system, the fuel consumption of the feeder is as low as 7.8L/100km, and the comprehensive range is over 1,200km.
Intelligent three locks: the first electronic inter-wheel differential lock + energy mid-lock combination can realize front and rear axle torque distribution within 10 milliseconds, which is 30 times faster than traditional mechanical locks, and supports extreme scenarios of single-wheel extrication.
CTC Battery Chassis Integration Technology
Blade batteries are integrated with a high-strength steel frame to form a non-load-bearing body structure that combines safety and performance:
Ultra-high torsional stiffness: The torsional stiffness of the frame is 38% higher than that of traditional fuel off-road vehicles, and the front bumper intrusion is reduced by 30%, while the side column intrusion is reduced by 25%.
Golden Axle Load Ratio: 50:50 weight distribution between front and rear is achieved through battery layout optimization, the center of mass is lowered by 110mm to improve handling stability, and the lateral stability angle is greater than 44 degrees.
Improved space utilization: chassis space utilization increased by 49.7%, releasing more interior space and improving chassis protection.
Cloud Chariot-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System
Active suspension technology specially designed for hardcore off-road, supporting all-terrain adaptive adjustment:
Four-dimensional adjustment capability: suspension height adjustment range up to 200mm, wading depth 1000mm, support camping leveling, convenient fetch and other functions.
Dynamic Response Optimization: Combining the chassis vibration isolation system with the golden axle load ratio, it suppresses the vibration transmission on bumpy roads, while improving the stability of high-speed cornering.
Off-road Enhancement Function: It can pre-scan the road condition 150 meters ahead, automatically adjust the suspension stiffness and torque distribution, and realize four-wheel linkage extrication.
