Exterior Design

The MG 4X features a youthful and stylish front fascia. The upper section features a closed-off design, while the lower section consists of an air intake grille, with air ducts on either side of the front bumper. The headlights feature sharp angles on the inner edges and a dual-layer lighting structure, giving them a refined look.

The side profile is virtually identical to that of the MG ES5, with a clean and sleek overall design. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,500/1,849/1,621 (1,627) mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.

The rear end, aside from the model name, also maintains the same overall design as the MG ES5. The taillights feature a full-width design, and the upper portion of the light cluster incorporates an angled spoiler design, giving it a sporty look.

Interior Design

The MG 4X features a brand-new two-spoke steering wheel, while the rest of the interior design is largely consistent with the MG ES5. The dashboard features a minimalist, three-dimensional design, incorporating a floating digital instrument cluster and a floating central touchscreen. The gear selector is a column-mounted design, while the center console adopts a three-dimensional structure with ample storage space at the bottom.

The MG 4X offers generous rear-seat legroom, with a flat rear floor, a panoramic sunroof, and rear air vents.

Powertrain

The MG 4X will be available with two electric motor options, delivering maximum power outputs of 150 kW and 125 kW, respectively. These are paired with 53.9 kWh and 64.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate and manganese-based lithium-ion batteries, offering CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 510 km and 610 km, respectively.
