The StarTour Exeed, a key model of Chery Automobile’s premium brand EXEED StarTour, has been attracting consumers with its unique design and performance since its release in 2019. The Exeed not only pursues innovation in design, but also strives to provide an experience beyond its class in terms of performance and configuration.
Exterior Design
The Exeed’s Exterior design is a blend of sporty and fashionable, showing a youthful and avant-garde style. The body lines are smooth, and the front face adopts the split headlight design unique to the Exeed brand, which, together with the matrix LED light clusters, provides a high degree of recognizability. The side lines of the body are smooth, with 18- or 19-inch multi-spoke wheels, highlighting the sporty atmosphere. At the rear, the transverse LED taillights and bilateral common two-outlet exhaust layout further enhance the vehicle’s sporty look.
Interior style
In terms of the Interior, the LX Exeed also displays a blend of technology and luxury. The interior is equipped with a 24.6-inch floating wrap-around curved screen with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Lion5.0 Lion Intelligent Cloud ecosystem, which provides a smooth interactive experience. The seats are made of high-grade leather material, providing good wrapping and comfort. In addition, the interior is equipped with colorful flowing ambient lighting and an openable intelligent star curtain panoramic sunroof, adding to the pleasure of driving.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Exeed offers two power variants, 1.5T and 1.6T, with the 1.5T engine producing 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, mated to a CVT; while the 1.6T power variant is powered by the 1.6TGDI engine with 197 hp, mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox. LX Exeed also launched a PHEV plug-in hybrid version, equipped with a hybrid-specific 1.5TCI engine and permanent magnet synchronous dual motors, providing excellent fuel economy and power performance.
Configuration Details
Exeed has also spared no effort in terms of configuration, with the entire lineup standardly equipped with intelligent driver assistance systems such as Telematics system, intelligent voice interaction system, 360-degree panoramic image, adaptive cruise control, active braking and other intelligent driver assistance systems. Meanwhile, in order to meet the needs of different consumers, the LX Exeed also offers a variety of configuration options, including different Interior styles, wheel designs, and more personalized Exterior color options.
