Exterior Design
The Jetta VA7 maintains the Jetta family’s signature design language. The front fascia features a brand-new grille adorned with segmented, radiating chrome bars, which blend seamlessly with the headlight clusters at both ends to create a visually integrated design. The lower section features a front bumper with a full-width chrome trim, and the trident-style accents on both sides add a touch of sophistication to the vehicle. Additionally, the new model is available in five exterior colors: Passat Gold, Crocodile Green, Arctic White, Black, and White.
The side profile is sleek and sturdy, defined by a continuous character line that gradually rises from front to rear, creating a visual effect of a forward-leaning stance. Combined with all-black window frames and newly styled wheels, the overall look exudes a strong sense of sportiness. The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,773 mm in length, 1,789 mm in width, and 1,469 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,731 mm—the same as the Sagitar’s, though the Jetta VA7 is slightly shorter.
Interior Design
The Jetta VA7 largely carries over the interior design and layout of the current-generation Sagitar, though adjustments have been made to the steering wheel, center console trim, and seat stitching patterns. The cabin offers two color schemes—black/white and black/red—with optional seat color combinations. The Jetta VA7’s cabin is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, an 8-inch LCD display, a 10.1-inch center touchscreen (12.9 inches on higher trims), AR navigation, voice control, multimedia entertainment, automatic climate control (on higher trims), 5W wireless phone charging, USB and Type-C ports, as well as rear USB ports.
Powertrain
The Jetta VA7 is powered by a 1.4T turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 110 kW (150 Ps) and peak torque of 250 N·m. According to official figures, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.2 seconds, with a combined fuel consumption of 5.87 L/100 km under WLTC conditions. The vehicle features an independent suspension setup consisting of a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link configuration.
