Exterior Design
In terms of appearance, Kia K5 is based on the Rhinoceros aesthetic design, with a fully evolved family tiger-whistling front face, shark-tooth sharp front grille, wider air intakes and LED lens headlights.
Side of the body, Kia K5 body side contour line, from the roof of the car to the rear of the line, slippery back design.
Rear part of the car, through the tail lamps in the form of a light band through the rear, flying diagonally into the left and right wings, the center of the dot-matrix LED light group and the front of the “heartbeat” LED daytime running lights, coupled with the bilateral four tail exhaust design.
Interior Design
The Kia K5’s wraparound center console adopts a driver-centered design orientation; the 12.3-inch intelligent touchscreen and 12.3-inch ultra-wide instrument panel are designed in one piece.
The seats of the Kia K5 are wrapped in perforated leather fabric. The Kia K5 seats also include a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat, driver’s seat memory function, rear power adjustable passenger seat, heated and ventilated front seats and a rear premium center armrest.
The Kia K5 has a length, width and height of 4980mm, 1860mm and 1445mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2900mm.The large space is complemented by a large panoramic sunroof. In addition, the trunk volume to meet the daily needs of cargo.
Power
Kia K5 is equipped with Hyundai Motor Group’s new-generation powertrain Smartstream, Smartstream low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation system (LP EGR), which realizes a new breakthrough in the field of valve control technology of the engine, and can reasonably control the duration of valve opening according to the driving conditions such as fixed-speed driving and accelerated driving. With the application of CVVD technology, the engine can realize a 4% increase in performance, a 5% increase in fuel efficiency and a 12% reduction in exhaust emissions.
Kia K5 provides two types of power: 1.5T and 2.0T, of which the 1.5T engine takes the lead in applying the world’s original fourth-generation CVVD engine technology, matched with a 7DCT gearbox, with a maximum power of 170 hp, a maximum torque of 253 Nm, and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 5.6 liters per 100 kilometers, which is a high power and low consumption; the 2.0T engine, matched with an 8AT transmission, has a maximum power of up to 240 hp and a maximum torque of 353 Nm. The 2.0T engine, matched with 8AT transmission, has a maximum power of up to 240 hp, a maximum torque of 353 Nm, and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 km.
