Polestar 3 is an ultra-luxury, all-electric SUV with an integrated all-electric powertrain and sustainable materials. it retains the key elements of a traditional SUV, while reinventing the SUV through lower styling, smoother lines and higher-end technology. The Polestar 3 not only illustrates the new role of the SUV, being recyclable and sustainable, but also elevates handling, usability and sustainability to new heights, creating a new paradigm for standard modern SUV features and functionality.
Exterior
The exterior design of the Polestar 3 is both low and smooth, and technologically advanced. The aerodynamic design is reflected in the spoiler wings, which accelerate air flow, minimize turbulence and integrate with the overall design. The low roof profile provides a coupe-like appearance, while the low sports seat layout ensures a comfortable and spacious ride. The powerfully avant-garde design creates a unique look, with smart technology so tightly intertwined with every aspect of the Polestar 3’s exterior design that it’s hard to separate.
Interior
Inside, the Polestar 3 features a Scandinavian design aesthetic that brings together technology and selected materials. The interior space is designed to be a treat for the senses, with the BAUER Weikeng Supreme Audio System providing a hallowed aural feast. The Polestar 3 comes with four different interior themes, each one combining a selection of key colors and innovative materials, with seats and upholstery that are pure and premium, a new benchmark for sustainability in the electric age.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Polestar 3’s powertrain is equipped with two liquid-cooled high-performance electric motors featuring a computer-assisted power distribution system that provides optimal traction and control in all situations. The all-wheel drive system continuously and automatically adjusts to the environment in which the vehicle finds itself. A torque vectoring system monitors tire slip at all times and actively delivers power to the tires with greater grip. Active Air Suspension replaces conventional shock absorbers and springs, continuously adjusting to sensor signals and driver inputs to improve handling and comfort.
Configurations
In terms of equipment, the Polestar 3 comes standard with five radars, five exterior cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors. For the first time, Smart Eye’s advanced eye-tracking technology is introduced in the vehicle, providing two closed-loop driver status monitoring cameras to assist in achieving safer driving. In addition, the Polestar 3 is equipped with a variety of local Chinese applications to meet the usage needs of Chinese consumers, and in terms of intelligent driving, a driver assistance package with LIDAR will be available as an option in the future.
