Exterior design

The Gaoshan DHT-PHEV waterfall grille has an overall very atmospheric look. The interior is inlaid with the Wey brand logo and is connected to the headlights on both sides, giving it a very imposing appearance. In addition, the lower bumper also wraps around the front end with a chrome trim to lower the visual centre of gravity.

The Gaoshan Co-Creation Edition features a brand new design style, with a diamond-shaped folded front grille that is very personalised. The decorative elements on either side of the front end are suspected to incorporate a light strip design, making the entire front end look wider. At the same time, the front fascia also has a more futuristic feel than the standard and executive long wheelbase versions.

The new car has a smoother roofline on the sides, and the waistline is designed to be higher in the front and lower in the back, which enhances the sense of stability. At the rear, the new car features a through-the-roof light cluster design, finished with vertical shapes on both sides, and paired with two exhaust decorations on both sides, which gives a prominent sense of layering.

In terms of body size, the standard version is 5045/1960/1900mm long, wide and high respectively, with a wheelbase of 3085mm and tyres measuring 245/50 R18. The executive long version is is 5405/1960/1890mm, with a wheelbase of 3275mm and a longitudinal interior space of 3823mm. Compared to the standard version, the length, width and wheelbase have been further increased.

Interior design

First, let’s take a look at the standard version. The overall interior design is relatively simple, with light-coloured upholstery. The biggest highlight is the use of a large dual-screen design, which further enhances the sense of technology in the car. In addition, the interior makes extensive use of horizontal lines, which further broadens the sense of space inside the car.

In terms of seats, the new car is equipped with dual-suspension zero-gravity massage seats, with one-touch zero-gravity/reset functions, as well as standard 10-point massage/ventilation/heating functions. The second row adopts a common rail design for the second and third rows, and the extra-long sliding track, which is 1845 mm long, gives the second row a maximum legroom of 1166 mm. The third row also adopts a split butterfly seat design, which can achieve a 4/6 split Tip-Up seat folding function, making the seat combination more flexible and luggage arrangement easier. The maximum volume of the organ-style trunk can reach 1725 L.

The Gaoshan DHT-PHEV is equipped with a 12.5-litre large-size on-board independent compressor refrigerator that can achieve temperature regulation from 0 to 50°C. It also adopts a double-decker design with two openings at the front and rear, which satisfies the convenience needs of both the driver and rear passengers when placing and taking items. It can hold 14 standard-size cans of drinks at one time. In addition, this on-board refrigerator can still maintain temperature for up to 24 hours after the vehicle is turned off.

Power

The Gaoshan DHT-PHEV standard version will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 1.5T engine and a motor. The engine has a maximum power of 115kW, and combined with the high-power rear axle motor with 135kW, the comprehensive power is as high as 358kW, and the maximum torque is as high as 762N·m. The 0-100km/h acceleration time is only 5.7 seconds. In urban scenarios, the vehicle is equipped with a large-capacity 37.96 kWh power battery, and the WLTC pure electric range is up to 140 km. When camping, the Gaoshan MPV can also achieve 10 hours of external discharge at full power through the external discharge function, so outdoor restaurants, cinemas, and entertainment are not a problem.
