Exterior Design

The Wey V9X draws design inspiration from “classical Eastern architectural aesthetics” and features clean, straight body lines. The illuminated floating emblem draws inspiration from the flagpoles in front of the former Governor-General’s Mansion in Baoding. The front fascia features a closed-off grille paired with star-ring headlights and Hi Light intelligent headlights, capable of projecting six driving assistance scenarios, three welcome scenarios, and 11 holiday welcome animation themes. The rear features three-dimensional, layered taillights. Nine exterior colors are available: Moonlight Silver, Wen Yuan Black, Dan Chen Purple, Soft Home Gray, Deep Courtyard Emerald, Purple Gate Gold, Ink Black Gold, Sky Green, and Shadow Wall Gray.

The Wey V9X is available in two body sizes: standard wheelbase and long wheelbase. The Luxury Family Edition is the standard wheelbase version, with dimensions of 5,205/2,025/1,825 mm and a wheelbase of 3,050 mm; the Luxury Long Wheelbase Edition and Executive Long Wheelbase Edition are long wheelbase versions, with dimensions of 5,299/2,025/1,825 mm and a wheelbase of 3,150 mm.

Interior Design

The Wey V9X features a 12.3-inch instrument cluster paired with dual 17.3-inch screens for the center console and passenger side, while the second row is equipped with a 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screen. The vehicle is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P cockpit chip. The vehicle is equipped with a dual-purpose refrigerator capable of cooling and heating, with a temperature range of -6°C to 50°C, a 7-liter capacity, and 24-hour temperature retention. The Wey V9X comes standard across all trims with fully electric doors featuring automatic opening and self-closing functions upon unlocking, as well as standard electric side steps with a maximum load capacity of 175 kg. Interior color options include Gray-Brown, Beige, Gray, and Gray-Beige.

Regarding seating, the second row features zero-gravity seats with leg rests, while the rear seats include overhead entertainment screens and fold-down tables. The rear door handle area is equipped with a wireless phone charging pad. The third-row seats come with massage functions.

Powertrain

The Wey V9X is built on an 800V high-voltage architecture and is powered by the “Super Hi4” plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 2.0T engine, a 4-speed hybrid-specific transmission, and dual electric motors. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 175 kW, while the front motor produces 110 kW and the rear motor 270 kW, resulting in a total system power of 550 kW. With a full charge, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. Regarding the battery, three options are available: 55.4 kWh, 66.6 kWh, and 80 kWh. The CLTC pure electric ranges are 310 km, 402 km, and 470 km, respectively, with a maximum combined range of 1,700 km. The new model supports 6C ultra-fast charging technology, capable of adding 200 km of range in just 5 minutes.
