Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV adopts a new design language that Zhengzhou Nissan calls “Z-Vision”, and the front end is simple and full of a sense of technology. The most conspicuous feature of the front face is the penetrating LED light band, and the Z-shaped daytime running lights extend below, enhancing the recognition of the whole car. The lower part of the large honeycomb grille, supplemented by silver decorative strip embellishment, the overall visual effect is competent and refined.

From the side, the Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV doesn’t take the monotonous lines of a traditional pickup truck. It uses a floating roof and a simple waistline design, in line with the positioning of new energy. Combined with the large wheels that have been smoked, the whole car looks very urban.

In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of this model are 5494/1960/1950 millimeters, and the wheelbase is 3300 millimeters, which fully guarantees the driving space and cargo demand. The rear part of the car echoes the front design, also adopts the penetrating taillights, the rear tailgate electric cover can be opened longitudinally, increasing the convenience, and the gantry option further enhances the hardcore off-road positioning.

Interior Design

Entering the interior, it’s clear that the Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV places a premium on comfort and technology. The floating center control screen combined with the LCD dashboard is intuitive to operate and has a clear interface. The interior color scheme also adopts a color clash process with a clear sense of hierarchy. The longitudinally designed air conditioning vents and the thick electronic gear lever are more upscale, and the physical buttons and chrome decorations are abundant, enhancing the overall sense of refinement.

It is worth mentioning that the Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV offers ventilated, heated and massaged front seats, which is relatively rare among pickup truck models and undoubtedly improves comfort for daily use. The steering wheel adopts a flat-bottomed design with a return logo, making the driving maneuver more sporty and comfortable.

Power

The Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV utilizes a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5T engine and a rear-mounted electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 147 horsepower, while the electric motor provides a powerful 212 horsepower. The transmission part is matched with a 4DHT gearbox to further improve power response and smoothness.

In terms of battery capacity, the Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 PHEV is available in 17 kWh and 32.85 kWh sizes, with a pure electric range of 60 kilometers and 135 kilometers respectively. The combined range easily exceeds 1,000 kilometers, which is enough to meet the needs of daily short-distance pure electric commuting in urban areas and long-distance long-distance travel.
