Geely Galaxy is Geely brand new high-end new energy series models, using a new logo, the series will push seven new models in two years, the first intelligent electric hybrid SUV “Geely Galaxy L7” synchronized with the global debut, and officially opened the booking, the second quarter of 2023 can be delivered.
On February 16, 2023, Geely announced that its mid-to-high-end new energy series will be officially named “Geely Galaxy”. Geely will officially launch the “Geely brand new energy strategy” on February 23rd at the main stadium of the Hangzhou Asian Games, and launch the first intelligent electric product of Geely Galaxy. The positioning of the new brand “Galaxy” is expected to be between the Geometry brand and the Krypton brand, focusing on the 200,000 ~ 300,000 yuan market.
Currently, the mainstream products under the Geely Galaxy brand include Geely Galaxy Starship 7, Galaxy E5, Galaxy E8, Galaxy L6 and Galaxy L7.

Thor EM-i Super Electric Hybrid System
Geely Galaxy’s Thor EM-i Super Hybrid System realizes a balance between power and energy consumption with a high thermal efficiency engine and intelligent electric drive as its core. The dedicated engine platform for the EM-i realizes a thermal efficiency of 46.5% through the “Wind Harnessing – Fire Tornado” ultra-high efficiency combustion technology, and is equipped with the world’s first E-DHT Intelligent Continuously Variable 11-in-1 Hybrid Electric Drive System, which integrates the silicon carbide CVM module, and has an electric drive efficiency of 98.02%. The system supports intelligent fuel-electricity distribution, with CLTC condition feed-in fuel consumption as low as 2.9L/100km, and a comprehensive range of over 2,000 kilometers, covering both family sedan and SUV scenarios.
SHIELD Battery Safety System
With “four standards and eight shields” as the core, S.E.D. Battery realizes the ultra-high safety standard of “no combustion from puncture, no leakage from blisters, no explosion from fall, and no burning from fire” through the protection of the battery structure, the design of the whole vehicle cage body, and the redundant backup technology. The battery module adopts ultra-national standard testing and is equipped with intelligent temperature control technology to ensure stability under extreme conditions. In addition, the electromagnetic radiation protection technology has been certified by the New Energy Vehicle Radiation Protection Certification, which comprehensively protects the user’s health.
Galaxy Flyme Auto Intelligent Cockpit System
Based on the in-depth cooperation with Stargate, Flyme Auto system realizes “car-hand-cloud” interconnection and supports multi-screen interaction (such as 14.6-inch center control screen, AR-HUD, etc.) and multi-tasking parallel operation. The system has built-in protocols such as Flyme Link and CarLink, and pre-installed high-frequency applications such as QQ Music and AutoNavi Maps, as well as realizing instant software updates through the self-developed “Boundless Space”. The vertical screen version of Flyme Auto further optimizes the interactive experience, supporting voice assistants, intelligent scene modes (such as camping and cinema modes), and so on.
Integrated Intelligent Driving Program of Heaven and Earth
Combining a low-orbit satellite network with high-precision positioning technology, Geely Galaxy’s Smart Driving Solution supports centimeter-level positioning and L3-level autonomous driving capabilities. Its StarElite Intelligent Computing Center can simulate daily driving training of 100,000km, and realize emergency braking under 90km/h cruising through hardware such as LIDAR and satellite antennae.In 2025, 72 low-orbit satellite networks will be completed, realizing global blind-zone-free coverage.
AI Cloud Power and Energy Efficient System
Through AI intelligent regulation, the system can predict road conditions and optimize the energy recovery strategy, extending the maintenance cycle to 15,000 km. This technology, combined with 7 major energy saving systems (such as automatic energy recovery and electric core temperature control), significantly reduces the cost of use and improves the efficiency of power response at the same time.
