The Ora brand belongs to Great Wall Motor, and is the first independent new energy vehicle brand among mainstream Chinese autonomous car companies. Among Chinese automobile companies, Great Wall was the first to manage its new energy vehicle business as a branded independent new energy brand. Great Wall Motor officially launched the Ora brand on August 20, 2018, and the first model, Ora iQ, was officially launched at the Chengdu Auto Show that year; on December 26 of the same year, the Ora Black Cat, which focuses on the C-end consumer market, was launched.
Ora’s R&D and design teams come from Germany, Austria, the United States, Japan and South Korea. Meanwhile, Ora has international suppliers such as Bosch and Autoliv.

Currently, the mainstream products under the Ora brand include Ora Funky Cat, Ora Ballet Cat, Ora Lighting Cat and Ora Funky Cat GT.
