Dongfeng Quantum Architecture
The Dongfeng Quantum Architecture is the underlying technical support for the Dongfeng Yipai model, featuring high expandability, full digitalization and modular design. The architecture supports a variety of power forms such as pure electric and extended range, and integrates intelligent driving, Telematics and electronic and electrical systems. For example, the eπ008 model built on the Quantum Architecture has a body torsional stiffness of up to 40,000 N-m/deg, ensuring the safety and stability of the vehicle in extreme scenarios.136 In addition, the Quantum Architecture provides hardware support for the vehicle’s in-vehicle intelligent configurations (e.g., the 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen, the WANOS panoramic acoustic music cockpit, etc.), which takes into account both the luxury experience and practicality.
Mach Powertrain
The Mach power technology carried by Dongfeng Eπ is its core competitiveness in the new energy field, including pure electric drive, extended range hybrid and high thermal efficiency engine:
Pure electric drive: The pure electric version of eπ007 adopts the Mach E 10-in-1 ultra-high-speed electric drive system, integrating 800V high-voltage silicon carbide technology, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds, with a CLTC range of 636 kilometers.
Extended Range Hybrid: The extended range model is equipped with a dedicated 1.5T engine with a thermal efficiency as high as 45.18% (industry-leading) and a comprehensive range of over 1,300 kilometers, which solves the pain points of traditional extended range models with high energy consumption and noise in the power feed.
SOA Intelligent Cockpit with Tianyuan Electrical and Electronic Architecture
The SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) intelligent cockpit developed by Dongfeng Eπ in collaboration with Huawei supports the decoupling of hardware and software and user-defined scenarios. For example, the 15.6-inch 2K center control screen equipped in eπ008 runs the new eπOS 2.0 system, which supports split-screen operation and personalized wallpaper, and the response speed of voice interaction reaches milliseconds.
Meanwhile, based on the centralized Tianyuan electronic and electrical architecture, Dongfeng Eπ further integrates Huawei’s Qiankun vehicle control module, realizing vehicle-road-cloud collaboration and L4-level autonomous driving functions. For example, eπ008’s Parking Intelligent Driving System supports high-speed NOA Pilot Assist and over-the-horizon memory parking, which significantly improves driving safety and convenience.
