Kunpeng Power Engine
Jetour is equipped with Chery’s self-developed third-generation ACTECO series engine, of which the 2.0TGDI engine is the technology collector. The 2.0TGDI engine is a technological masterpiece. It adopts core technologies such as the second-generation iHEC Intelligent Efficiency Combustion System and electronically controlled fast response supercharger, with a thermal efficiency of 38%, a maximum power of 187kW (254hp), a peak torque of 390N-m, and an acceleration rate of 100km in less than 8 seconds, which is a good balance of dynamics and fuel economy. The engine has been awarded the title of “China’s Heart” Top Ten and has been applied to Jetour X90 Zilong and other models, becoming the benchmark of power in its class.
XWD Fully Automatic Intelligent Four-Wheel Drive System
Based on BorgWarner’s sixth-generation technology, the Jetour XWD system integrates an intelligent torque manager and an electronic limited-slip differential, with a response time of just 0.1 seconds, and supports “7+X” driving modes (Eco/Sport/Snow/Rock, etc.). Its locking state can realize torque distribution in corners, improve stability in high-speed cornering and slippery road conditions, and simplify the operation steps, so that novice off-roaders can also drive easily. The system has passed over 10 million kilometers of durability testing and is used in models such as the Jetour Freelander, becoming the key to technological breakthroughs in the light off-road market.
Kunlun Off-Road Platform
A modular platform designed specifically for off-road scenarios, with high expandability and intelligent features. The platform integrates electronic and electrical architectures, intelligent cockpit and driver assistance systems, and supports a variety of power modes (fuel/hybrid/pure electric). The platform adopts a cage structure, with 80% of its body made of high-strength steel, a ground clearance of 200mm, and an approach angle of 28°, making it suitable for hardcore off-road vehicles and pickup trucks. This platform gives the Jetour Shanhai series strong passability and safety performance. For example, the Shanhai L9 realizes the balance between seven-seat space and hybrid range through this platform.
Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM Technology
Chery’s new energy core technology, equipped with 1.5T high-efficiency hybrid special engine and 3-speed DHT transmission, with a comprehensive range of 1100km, CLTC pure electric range of 108km, and fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km. it adopts IPX7 waterproof batteries and cloud monitoring system, and with the triple electric lifelong warranty policy, it takes into account the economy and reliability. This technology has been applied to hybrid models such as Shanhai L9, realizing the coverage of “city and wild” travel scenarios.
Lion Intelligent Cockpit and Ecological Platform
Based on the Qualcomm 8155 chip, the Lion Intelligent Cabin system supports multi-screen interaction, AI voice and scenario-based services, and deeply integrates the “Travel+” ecosystem. For example, Jetour X90 Zilong is equipped with DMS+OMS face monitoring system, which can adjust the seats and air conditioning in real time; Shanhai L9 is connected to 780 Jetour stations through the eco-platform, providing charging, camping and other scenario-based services. In addition, Jetour has built a user co-creation community to strengthen ecological stickiness through online and offline activities.
