AION i60 is positioned as a pure electric/extended range large five-seat SUV, the extended range version has 210km pure electric + 1240km comprehensive range, and the new car also has AION’s core technologies, including Star Source Extended Range, Magazine Battery 2.0, and GSD Intelligent Driving Assistance System. AION i60 is officially launched as a new model for family and commuting scenarios, with a shape close to the new AION V, body dimensions of 4685/1854/1660mm, and a wheelbase of 2775mm, positioning it as a compact SUV with a large space setup.

Exterior Design

The AION i60 adopts a brand new design language, combining design elements from both the Transcend Aspire Series and the AION Pure Electric Series. The front face adopts a closed grille design, with a penetrating light band connected to the “Y” shaped light clusters on both sides, effectively widening the visual width. The AION i60 is available in six body colors, including Warm Velvet Gold, Star River Blue and Polar White, to meet the personalized needs of different consumers.

The side of the body adopts a relatively square profile and is equipped with semi-hidden door handles.The length, width and height of the AION i60 are 4685/1854(1876)/1660mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2775mm, which belongs to the mainstream size of compact SUVs. At the rear of the car, the penetrating taillights echo the front face, and the double-layer light strip design increases the recognizability. The pure electric version is marked with “AION” letters, while the extended-range version is marked with the GAC Chuanqi logo.

Interior Design

The AION i60 continues the family’s simple design style, offering three interior colors: Oatmeal Milk White, Warm Velvet Light Brown and Tahitian Gray. The new car is equipped with a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel + pocket gear shifter, and a large 14.6-inch center control screen with built-in ADiGO SPACE 6.0 Intelligent Cockpit System. The front seats are equipped with ventilated and heated functions, and the backrests of the rear seats support 137-degree elevation and 20-degree stepless adjustment, and are equipped with a small table board to enhance the comfort of long-distance rides, while the higher-end version is equipped with an 8-point massage system. The vehicle is also equipped with 6kW V2L external discharge and V2V to vehicle discharge functions, expanding outdoor use scenarios.

Power

The AION i60 offers two power options: pure electric and extended range. The pure electric version offers two types of drive motors, 150 kW and 165 kW, and is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs with capacities of 62.268 kWh and 75.26 kWh respectively, and the CLTC pure electric range is available in three specifications: 400 kilometers, 530 kilometers, and 650 kilometers. The range-extended version is equipped with GAC’s self-developed Star Source range-extending system, which consists of a 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine (with a maximum power of 74 kW) and a drive motor. Equipped with a 29.165 kWh battery pack, the CLTC has a pure electric range of 210 kilometers and a combined range of 1,240 kilometers. 15-minute fast charging can charge the battery from 30% to 80%.
