The Audi Q3’s front fascia continues the brand’s signature single-frame grille, which has been enlarged and positioned higher on the front end. Paired with exquisite chrome trim inside, it creates a wide, commanding visual presence that exudes luxury. The highlight of the front fascia is the lighting design. The upper digital daytime running lights feature a pixelated layout, creating a dramatic, ceremonial effect. Below, hidden within black side air intakes, are digital matrix LED headlights equipped with microLED modules, which significantly enhance lighting precision and range. They also feature a lane-change warning function: when the turn signal is activated and a vehicle is detected in the target lane, the system promptly illuminates a warning light, significantly improving driving safety. The flowing creases on the hood complement the sporty front bumper below. The air intakes on both sides not only optimize aerodynamic performance but also reinforce the vehicle’s dynamic stance, giving the front end a look that blends a high-tech feel with power.
Moving to the side profile, the standard Q3 measures 4498×1848×1614mm. Its side profile features a “dual character line” design: the upper line extends from the headlights to the taillights, while the lower line creates a three-dimensional effect through the interplay of light and shadow. Wheel options range from 18 to 20 inches; the top-of-the-line model is equipped with 20-inch blade-style wheels and 255/40 R20 high-performance tires, further enhancing its sporty character. The coupe version’s roofline is 29 mm lower than the standard model’s, creating a sleek fastback silhouette that significantly reduces the drag coefficient.
Moving to the rear, the design features a layered layout: a small ducktail spoiler at the top, a full-width LED light bar and illuminated four-ring emblem in the center, and dual-exit exhaust trim at the bottom. The taillight cluster utilizes OLED technology, supporting dynamic lighting effects and a welcome light show, ensuring exceptional nighttime visibility. The height of the trunk opening has been optimized; the standard version offers a capacity of 575L, which expands to 1,386L when the rear seats are folded down, meeting the needs of family outings. The specially equipped power tailgate supports foot-activated opening, making it more convenient when loading large items.
Interior Design
The Audi Q3 creates an immersive smart cockpit based on the “Digital Stage” concept. The floating, curved dual-screen setup—comprising an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch center display—serves as the interactive hub of the interior. Powered by the Android Automotive OS, it delivers smooth and responsive operation. In terms of space, the new Q3 demonstrates a precise optimization philosophy. The rear seats feature sliding and reclining adjustments. With the seats in their standard position, the luggage compartment offers 488 liters of capacity; this expands to 575 liters when the seats are slid forward, and reaches an impressive 1,386 liters when fully folded flat—easily accommodating large items such as camping gear and strollers.
Powertrain
The Audi Q3 continues to offer 1.5T and 2.0T engines. The former delivers a maximum power output of 118 kilowatts and peak torque of 250 Newton-meters, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission; all models with this engine displacement feature front-wheel drive. the latter delivers a maximum power output of 137 kilowatts and peak torque of 320 Newton-meters, also paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission; some models are equipped with the quattro on-demand all-wheel-drive system. In terms of the chassis, the new model is built on the MQB Evo platform, featuring a lighter body and greater rigidity. It comes standard with a steel-spring suspension, with optional configurations including a sport suspension and an upgraded dual-valve shock absorber suspension. The suspension tuning balances sportiness and comfort, providing smooth shock absorption over speed bumps or bumpy roads while maintaining stable body control.
