Tank 400 diesel continues the design concept of urban functional aesthetics of Hi4-T version, and perfectly integrates the geometric architecture of the city and functional style into the body design, breaking the shackles of traditional hardcore off-road vehicle design, and leading the new style of urban wildness with the innovative fusion of the sense of science and technology and the sense of power, and the angular mecha lines and the cyberpunk style lamps, shaping the visual symbol of “recognition at a glance”. The angular mecha lines and cyberpunk-style light clusters create the visual symbol of “instantly recognizable at a glance”, which becomes more and more durable and leads the trend of hardcore off-road design.

Compared with the Tank 400 Hi4-T, the fuel version is equipped with fixed side steps, and the size of the sunroof has been reduced, so as to facilitate the user’s need to install a roof platform to enhance the storage capacity in long-distance traversing scenarios. According to official data, the Tank 400 Fuel Edition model has an approach angle of 33 degrees, a departure angle of 31 degrees, a longitudinal passing angle of 22.5 degrees, and a minimum ground clearance of 235 millimeters, which is an increase of 1 degree in the departure angle and 9 millimeters in the minimum ground clearance compared to the 400 Hi-4-T.

Interior Design

The Tank 400 Fuel Edition continues to come with 12.3-inch full LCD instruments and a 16.2-inch floating center display, and also offers a HUD head-up display. The new car is equipped with the coffee OS 2 intelligent cockpit system, which supports three types of connectivity: HUAWEI HiCar, ICCOA Carlink (supporting Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo phones), and DLNA video casting. In addition, the new car has dual 50W fast charging in the front row, equipped with an electric fan cooling system, with off-board cell phone and foreign object reminder.

In addition, the seats of Tank 400 Fuel Edition are covered with Nappa perforated leather, the main driver has 6-way seat adjustment + 8-point massage + memory + electric 4-way lumbar support, and the front row is equipped with seat ventilation and heating, which provides a rich and comfortable driving experience for drivers and passengers;
It is worth mentioning that the trunk volume of Tank 400 Fuel Edition is 566L; the second row of seats can be put to flat, and the volume can be expanded to 1,803L.

Power

Tank 400 gasoline version of the 2.0T high-efficiency engine adopts high-efficiency electronically controlled turbocharger, Miller cycle technology, 350bar gasoline direct injection system, cylinder head integrated exhaust manifold, two-stage intake VVL, variable displacement oil pump and other technologies, with a maximum power of 252 hp (185kW), peak torque of 380 Nm, mated to a 9AT transmission.

The Tank 400 Diesel Edition is equipped with a 2.4T new-generation high-performance and low fuel consumption diesel engine, with a compression ratio of 16:1, a maximum thermal efficiency of 42.3%, a maximum net power of 135kW, a maximum net torque of 480N-m (1500-2500), and a low-rotation, high-torque characteristic (1500rpm outbreak of peak torque), which provides excellent power continuity and always ensures the output of large torque at low speeds.
